At the moment Amazon has the Ryzen 7 9800X3D for $809 through Computer Alliance on sale down from $869.

If you check out with PAYTO (PAYID) you can get 5% off using code PAYTO5. If this is your first Amazon App order, you can also checkout using PAYTO on the Amazon App for a further $20 off using code APP20.

Both codes stack so you can get it for $748 down from $869 which most other retailers are selling it for at the moment.

Tested and purchased by myself.

This would also work with any other computer part I guess, but I was shopping for this CPU.

  • i've tried to setup payto few times with my NAB account but no luck… :|

It was really straight forward with bankwest, I just clicked sign up on amazons website, entered my phone number then went into my bankwest app to hit approve. Took maybe 2 minutes. Good luck!

      • yeh did that and the bsb method … never got an approval thing within the app or online banking :( … oh well shall try again later

        • I had to log into my online banking website for ANZ. Nothing shows up on the app.

          • @VlVh: seems to be a NAB thing for me both app and online banking didn't work, i added a CBA account we don't use much and that had no issues.

$762.77 with eBay Plus, can join for $4 if not already a member, if you can't use the $20 off first app order that OP used (I did my first app order a long time ago).

    • Also not a bad price!

  • Wow the price competition is getting crazy on this CPU.

I pulled the trigger and got it at $760

kinda overkill for gaming, similar performance with 7800X3D and 7700 at fraction of the price.

      • When you say it's similar, do you mean for gaming only, or is the 7800X3D competitive for other stuff apart from gaming too? What are the average price differences of those CPUs (7800X3D and 7700?) compared to this?

Any motherboards you could recommend that would be as good or better feature wise compared to my current MB (Asus Crosshair 8 Hero)?

And/or RAM (32GB 3600Mhz RAM - Would be looking at 64GB this time around) as I'd be coming from AM4 platform. Don't need brands or anything for RAM. I can look at all that myself, but just curious what the sweet spot for RAM speed and timings are for AM5/DDR5?

  • Is PAYTO the same as PayID? I've used PayID, but never heard of PayTO.

With the APP20 code, is that for one item only, or if you've never used the app before, can you order multiple items and get $20 off of each one?
