thanks op, grabbed one
Lovely. Thanks ISP!
I just got 2 of these yesterday - other than the max wattage, is this one significantly better than the ones I got?
My guess is you're talking about ugreen ones you purchased? These ones are more compact
Yeah, just seeing if it's worth cancelling the order and getting these, since my order hasn't been shipped yet. And that's fair - I was grabbing them to take on an upcoming Europe trip with the family, so maybe these Novoo ones are better? We don't care about charging laptops as none of us are bringing a laptop, but just for charging phones and other smaller devices with a smaller footprint?
I have one of the novoo ones from last deal and theyre pretty good. They don't run hot and are compact to carry around in my backpack
For a trip I would recommend a charger that has a detachable cord. It provides greater flexibility as to where you place the charger and you can take shorter cables.
Some examples of USB charger hub
@mathew42: I bought a couple of these a few weeks back when they were on sale. I wanted to get something compact for the trip as well when we need something smaller and more compact.
@Opaquer: your 1st link on the top goes to amazon prime not an item, the 2nd link works.
if you had 2 then get one that and one this so you can compare and give us comparison later on after your trip :)
edit: check/compare power distribution for 2 ports. novoo would be better power dist for most people, but if that is okay for your then fine
@McMaferMur: Huh, sorry, thought I copied the link properly - either way, the ones I bought yesterday were two of these guys that we'll be using around the place. I just cancelled the 2 UGreen ones I got yesterday and got 2 replacement Novoo ones - I'll keep everyone updated after the trip how it's all going!
@Opaquer: errr have you considering the fact that ugreen has cable that goes to the wall? that would be VERY handy when you are in the hotel, and the plug is somewhere in weird places, you can place the charger on the table, easy access for everyone. the novoo will have to stay at that wall
@McMaferMur: Sorry, I got my links mixed up and now I can't edit things!
So I got 2 of these with the flexible cable. Those one are definitely coming with us even though I accidentally said I cancelled that order (sorry, I blame just having woken up and not had breakfast or caffeine yet!) Like you said, the flexible cable will be invaluable if plugs are in weird places.
Then last night I got 2 of these. I wanted something smaller and less bulky for the trip for places that had good plug positions (and with long cables, that makes it easier). Also, we've lost some of our fast chargers at home so these will be good replacements. They hadn't shipped from Amazon yet, so I cancelled the order and replaced them with 2 of these Novoo ones instead, since they're more compact and higher wattage if we charge multiple things at once :)
@Opaquer: to be honest if you dont use laptop this novo will be overkill, you really need to work out the devices you have, and then find the charger that is suitable. if just multiple phone, find charger that has 5 ports for example but each can steadily output 30w for example.
this novoo one usb c output is 70w that is useless for your phone
if you dont charge laptop i think both are fine depends how many ports you need
Can someone explain to a noob why paying $35 for a power port is a good deal? No cable included?
Depends, what do you think is a good price for a charger that can provide up to 100W?
From experience, when you pay for a no-name brand off aliexpress, because it's cheap, things don't last very long (few months at best). Even when you aren't charging at it's max wattage, they will still overheat and burn out very quickly.
This deal is for people who want/need a compact powerfull charger capable of 100W output for fast charging
of phones or laptop etc, even 2 at oce via usb c 70W + 30W Max. If you want/need a usb c cable included
(100W usb c to c cable), and prefer black charger and cable, then for $39.09 you get this.

It’s small.
It’s high power / fast charging.
Depending on what laptop you have, you could use this instead of the laptop charger, saving space and weight when travelling.
Thanks legends all
Just gave your earlier comment an upvote as you asked genuine question after above response.
OP or Moderator, maybe add the Novoo 100W Black charger + 100W cable also on sale @ Amazon Prime day for $39.09.
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DKDXX8D1/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0…
Thx, I cancelled and bought this instead.
Hi can you pls explain why this is better as it costs more
Are you serious, or just joking?
Yeah so you gave the explanation of the Novoo in the main listing but now you recommend this black one which is $39 but the other one is $34?
@jumpingwillow: I think you are mixing something up here? I am not the OP, just an ozbargain member
making a comment that shows an alternative from this White $34 listing without a cable,
to a "similar deal" for same charger in Black WITH an icluded 100W usb c to c cable for $39.09.
Hope that clears it up for you then…….
FYI, $39.09 is the regular sale price. The cheapest I've seen it was $37.79 ($59.99, 17% off + 20% coupon)
I'm still waiting for the day it drops to sub-$35…
I'm pretty sure you will get that sub $35 price within the following 12 months.
Just depends when you want/need it. I'm happy with my $33.69 price delivered after the extra cashback.
Ahh, I completely forgot about cashback. I would've been happy with that as well
@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa: Yeah, I sometimes forget too. But as I did not really Need this anytime soon,
was definately only going to pull the trigger on an ATL just for the OZB sport lol.
@theguyrules: The 1 % or whatever it is no big deal, but the extra bonus $5 made it a good bargain for me.
@theguyrules: Maybe next. I have forgotten a few times too. As a matter of fact, few weeks ago there was a Temu 40 % cashback offer. I put an order ready in cart, together over $50 in order to get free delivery, got distracted, got back to it after dinner and paid around 8 pm. Then read later cashback was only till 6 pm that day. Only ordered as thought stuff would be around 35% off. Oh well lol.
Do you think this is higher quality than my Anker Gan Prime 65W charger?
Probably not. Just higher wattage. Anker has a solid rep.
Very unlikely.
Input Voltage 200 Volts (AC)
Total Usb Ports 3
Wattage 100 watts
Output Current 2 Amps
Output Voltage 100 Volts
100 Volts?
I am looking for 20V at 5A, but this one comes with 100V at 2A, I am afraid it might incinerate my laptop.
It's probably a typo, USB chargers are not supposed to output 100V… yet 😅
have two of these when they were first released in black.
no issues at all charging laptop and phone on one.
came with a cable from memory.
2 pin… always annoys me when these slip off the wall.
Switched to cabled models as a result.
How is this brand? Is a bit fatter 8.24.74.1cm
i have a zyron 100w 71x60x30mm I'm happy with, a choetech 100w that's fine too, had an anker 65w that was not compatible with my Lenovo laptop so I had to return it.
I haven't seen anything really small after the zyron
Sorry but I will wait for Gan 4.
What are the differences between gan numbers?
I'm waiting for GAN 20
Mostly tech to enable smaller/lighter form factor.
Better flux capacitor for higher quality electricity pass through which makes devices function better because the electrons are more aligned.
Really gets special once GAN goes past 88 W of power.
Isn't fast charging bad for battery…? I never use fast charging.
Charging is controlled by the device, not the charger. Any modern smartphone or laptop will fast charge to ~80% and then slow down the final charge. It's the final bit where the battery heats up and causes most the degradation.
Charging and battery chemistries are a little more complex than you're thinking.
NOVOO has some good and some not so good models from what I heard. Can someone please confirm if this is one of the good ones?
It's good
The "bad" model is the older RG67 67W charger which tends to overheat after a while. The RG68 and RG100 etc are solid.
Thanks - my 65W Minix from ali has been going strong for 4 years, but keen to upgrade to 100W.
@I Smell Pennies code is only one usage per amzon account?
It’s showing currently out of stock
seems only the 65w now available
OMFG OOS!
Consider this one https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0DKDXX8D1 as posted by @ozhunter68 above. If you're happy paying a few bucks extra to get a cable with it.
thanks, bought
I'm confused about the cable. Does the cable make a difference in charging??
of course if the charger can output 100w but the cable only can handle 25w then your laptop will get 25w (assuming your laptop can take 100w)
all 3 things must sync
@Homr: massive problem is, cables doesnt clearly states what they can handle, you just need to manually label them or dig out the purchase history… very frustrating really imagine if you have 20 cables
@McMaferMur: yes i was thinking that too. And also how would i know if my laptop or phone is charging at maximum speed??
@Homr: laptop or phone is charging at maximum speed?? well first you need to know your phone/laptop spec. can they handle xxx W?
then then you need to get a wattage meter and put it between the cable and the laptop port.
https://www.amazon.com.au/Functional-Multimeter-Capacity-Tem…
Do you know if the cable supplied can do 100w?
I cant seem to find it. Only says 1m premium usb c cable
If you read and look at pics in detail, it does state it is 100W (I found it, but forgot where lol).
Link now takes you to the 67w model
There was >5 in stock just before. People are buying them up!
Got 1 just then. 2 left it says now
Black one with cable for $39.09 still in stock.
White back in stock
Has anyone tested this? Any good?
so far so good.
