    I built a external SSD with a 4tb and a usb 4 enclosure and I get about 3000mbps speeds. so the speeds for the same price.

      What type of 4tb SSD did you pick up in that price range?

      I've done something similar - albeit in the 2TB range using NVMe - and USB4.

      The hardest part was choosing the right enclosure - the SSD can run incredibly hot at USB4 speeds

      After much research - I just purchased this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DP4YZZ1X - both from the heat sink cooling perspective, and also the ASMedia 2463 chipset

      and for the SSD - chose - https://www.umart.com.au/product/samsung-2tb-mz-v9s2t0bw-990…

      Delivered - that is in the $330 or so range.

    Samsung and a few other retailers are all selling the T7 (non-touch) for the same price, so I think it is a non-touch. The 15% make it a good deal for me. If you have Commonwealth bank credit card, Yelo is also doing the 15% for Samsung, so that can be an alternative for others.

    MU-PC4T0T/WW is the code for the std (non touch) model. I think TGG have the description wrong
