      How?

      • +8

By stealing. Ignore the troll. He bragged the same comment in the Octopath deal.

        • +1

LOL people are so quick to judge…. I used to work for game shop and would get free vouchers every now and then to spend on the store, got plenty of switch and ps5 games for free. The pay was peanuts but at least I got to get many free games.

Imagine bragging about piracy lol. its not like it's a skilled thing to do.

Modding a console is not as straightforward as you put it

        • Yeah but he probably had someone else do it for him.

  • +1

Think i missed out on getting fire emblem 3 houses. Anywhere to get that for a decent price?

    • Probably second hand at this point - I think only EB/JB stock them still and they'd be close to full price anyway with the odd $5-10 discount at best.

    • +1

It won't be long before that game will be more expensive second hand due to no new units produced lol.

      • Is it actually a good game?
Seems like a drab compared to prior games and engage.

        • It's a rpg with some fire emblem in it.

I personally really disliked it, but I don't think that's the common sentiment.

Map design of first half is non existent, and second half is just barely sufficient. Balance is broken, and almost all maps can easily be completed in less than 10 turns as a first timer (and the exceptions are the defend maps).

The story is stand out reason to play, blue lion should be your first route.

Imo, if you're a FE fan, you should atleast try it. It sold very well by FE standard, so it'll govern the future of FE franchise, just like how awakening did for last generation.

        • loved it but it's also my first fire emblem and looking at engage
(which i skipped for that reason) its clear thats that it's a different focus three houses is more rpg/persona style story focus vs a tactics focus.

          red eagles all the way…

    • It's $39.75 from Amazon right now, can't post the link as it's showing affiliated, search it in Amazon.

      • Thats three hopes not three houses.

        • Oops..

  • if it got any enhancement for NS2?

    • +1

      XBX DE?
No specific Switch 2 patches for it yet (or any of the other Xenoblade games).

Right now, only noticeable benefit is slightly faster loading times.

        German xbox?

        /s

        • Took me a moment, too

    • Nah, dataminers found a 60Hz mode option in the game files but it's dummied out.
Given XBCX DE was a Switch 2 launch window title that kind of suggests there was some QC issues/gamebreaking bugs they couldn't fully fix in time for release, and now that the game is actually out an enhancement patch is probably not a priority for anyone over at Nintendo or Monolith (unfortunately).

Have this, bought it the same time as the NS2.

No upgrades and still locked to 30 fps.

None of the XC games have gotten any NS2 patches or brute-forced performance boost, own and tested all of them.

      • yeah a shame i wouldnt be surprised if they get an upgarde at some point especially since they have put them all on swith now, but they could easily wait a year or do the bigger paid upgrade patch like zelda even

    This post is rather epic.

Also, epic Mickey rebrushed is $39.

    See what I did there.

    Seriously though, great post.

Thanks, buy now and wait for switch 2 update!

    Thank you OP!!

I managed to grab the new Zelda amiibo that are $5 off each and the Joker amiibo which was $2 off.

Use REWARDS15 to get $15 off if you spend $149 and also got free shipping.

    • +1

Did the same but didn’t get the Joker amiibo and just add a packet of cheese bacon balls to make order to qualify for $15 off!

    • Use to love collection the Zelda Amiibos but stop on these new ones as they are just too $$ even on sale now they are still $24 each

      • I did too, with that $15 off, it was more like $22.50 each. I'm happy with that, not $29! I won't get them at RRP.

      • I didn’t start collecting them until they did a re-release of the old ones in 2023. I bought one of each so I thought I might as well buy the latest ones too to complete the collection.

  • Bit confused why delivery isn't possible any more

    • Damn. I've been putting it off since this morning.

      • +5

I got a price match for JB, $2.29 delivery instead of $4 with Big W

Hard to find decent deal on Xenoblade 3 nowadays…

    • I was tossing up between the two but went with X based on a few forums saying it was more standalone.

      • +1

yeah 3 is somewhat the most reliant on previous knowldege it's still 90% it's own story u will understand, but its basically a star wars force awakens for the series.

x is basically fully standalone but the most different, with less story focus and getting to mess around in a mech with more obvious tech future vibe, if u really do like x and want more just go back to XC1 DE and go from there,

      • Yeah I just want to get all of them, hoping to get 3 and X on sale (maybe 39 each) at some point

  • +1

    Unfathomably under rated good game

  • +4

Great, I fell for it (again) and bought 4 games to add to my pile of shame…

    • I bought 1, spent a few hours thinking about it, then bought another one.

  • Price matched Xenoblade at JB, thanks op

  • If you had to pick one, which is best to get?

  • Big W is a great place to buy Switch games.

I still remember they were selling 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim for a retail price of $24.
