Ultra cheap fares to Istanbul from Perth! These are on Turkish Airlines and Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. 30kg checked luggage included. I have not seen fares this cheap for quite some time. Turkish airlines isn’t the premium carrier it use to be.
Their new Dreamliner cabin was so tight, my knees were touching despite sitting fully upright. On a 16 hour flight. I would avoid if I can.

Malaysia Airlines is one world, their flights are chartered as Turkish Airlines is Star Alliance, which means no points in leg to/from KL, if you have Star Alliance status, those won't apply either, so no lounge in KL — this is from previous experience, things might have changed, but most likely not.
Can't complain about the low cost airline pricing when meals and luggage are included.
It's a mixed bag as TK uses newer A350s but MH still uses old A330s.
