Two day deal that is fair to assume is in response to Aldi’s $499 heat pump dryer special that went on sale today.
Both Aldi and Solt model look very similar, I wonder if they’re both same model rebadged?

And they have delivery
Aldi has top notched warranty. 3yrs on the same dryer, mine died after 2yrs 9 months and as it couldn't be repaired they refund my money. I just bought the same one again.
Even better than a retailer that sell appliances hey. Same with my coffee machine died actually 2 months after warranty and they still swapped for a new one.
Good guys has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a brick retailer.
I'm no stranger to 'playing the game' when you have a problem…. repeated enquiries, waiting hours on the phone etc. But the good guys was something else. Phone numbers that would transfer to a dead line. Email replies with copy/paste paragraphs irrelevant to my questions. Just no way through.
I would chose Aldi 100% over goodguys, no question.
Same models as the Esatto I believe.
Yeah I thought so , looks super similar
Has the drying time improved? I bought the 7kg Stirling / Esatto version back in 2019 (still runs fine) but it takes 3-4 hours to dry a decent load of washing. Recently upgraded to F&P Series 9 9kg model and it dries a full load in 2hr, on eco mode!
And their answer to the 10kg washing machine?
only 2 years warranty.
I bought beko 5 years warranty with free delivery for $750 with referral sign up.

How has it been since you got it? Is it a good piece of kit? I’ve never bought anything Beko before
I’ve had one of these for a few years and they’re great, I generally don’t find they take that much longer to dry stuff (the timer says 3:30 when you start but generally takes under 2 hrs) and I’m much less worried the house will burn down when I leave it on when I’m out. Not having fluff and condensation all over my laundry is great too.
One thing is that I noticed it is possible to overload heat pump dryers. Conventional ones as long as they weren’t stuffed to the brim they’d blow hot air and shit would eventually dry, with this if I try and put 2 queen beds worth of sheets/doona covers in there it will just spin for 3 hours and the stuff is no drier
Between Aldi and Good Guys, just feel it’s preferable to buy from a specialist appliance retailer; easier to get support, warranty, exchanges, etc.
