$6 Hot Food (Pie, Sausage Roll, etc) + Drink (Dare, 600mL Soft Drink, Coffee etc) + Bonus 100 Velocity Points @ 7-Eleven

Not too bad for a small feed, particularly with decent half-litre+ drinks (the dare no sugars are pretty good).

Not sure what the Velocity points equate to, maybe $1 or $2? Maximum 300 bonus points will be awarded per account. See below for getting the points.

The app has some other OK offerings at the moment too. Haven't tried the $2.50 Chai or white HC as yet, are they decent?

  • Great deal thanks OP

  • This is a new round of this promo right?

I've exhausted my 300 points from the round that started a 3-4 weeks ago.

That one only had cans of coke as part of the deal, not bottles so I'm suspecting it's a new round.

    • Yeah pic has the 600mL bottles too, might be, havent used the app for a while sorry can't confirm.

      • +1

All good… I'll grab a pie and coke later to test!

      • +1

Yep, it's a new round. Got my 100 points from yesterday's spend.

Now i need to get two more pies and cokes in the next two weeks - lol

        • I think I'll just save the $5.00

Shopping or gift cards: 0.4–0.5 cents per point, so 100 points = 40–50 cents

          • @G-Shock: If you're just after points., i don't disagree that there are better options… especially when compared to churning.

But if you get a pie and drink from 711 already when topping up fuel each week like i do, it's a nice bonus.

They're actually not bad pies and i sauces are complimentary.

            • @Mugsy: Yeah good if you buying anyway like i said.
Seems like the 100 points in the deal was just for that combo but yeah will get some points anyway.

  • At first i thought we are getting $6 for 100 velocity points :D
Usually price goes at the end of the goods description in the title.
    Still a good deal OP.

wdym. I dont know anywhere else in AU you can get a coffee for $1.50 and a free donut, and usually the second cheapest fuel next to costco in my area.

      • -3

How do you get a free donut and a coffee for $1.50? One on your birthday, after 6 purchases you get a free item.

Yeah I use the fuel lock and get the odd snack there.
It's convenient not cheap for most stuff. At least they have sushi now at last.

It's the mentality of spending $6 to get $1 I was commenting on - if you are buying it anyway then great.

Don't get me wrong I love 7-eleven and would go there 3 times a day at least in Thailand.

        • Your math is off.
$6 for a pie and drink. That alone is respectable, the 100 velocity makes even sweeter.

            @YellingIntoTheVoid: Yeah go for it.
The $2 sausage roll days were good. I'd even pay $3. $4.50 is a joke now (but sometimes end up getting them, just try not to).

Free pod machine coffee at work so don't care about that.

        • I do agree, I'm there for the sub-$3 items or the fuel lock freebies. Drinks aren't usually worth buying out, hot food in a convenience store sub-$3 is OK these days when even the country bakeries are pricing pies over $5 :(

My ideal deal would be just a special on the hot food @ $2-3, then I'd grab a cold small coffee from the machine (coffee shot, + top up with fresh cold milk and any of the free additions for $1.50). Better than $5 or $6 if one isn't doing any points, and customisable (coffee weakness & sweetness).

Daniels Donuts 3x free coffee and donut for new users.
(… they seem to have some technical issues because my coupon hasn't expired after I used it a few times)

  • +1

Breakfast sorted. Then the $8 meal deal with the sandwiches for lunch.

  • Good deal for Gluttonous Tradies
    Cheers OP

  • Thanks OP

The white hot chocolate is not very delicious. Stick with the original hot chockie.

  • Anyone else is having issue linking the velocity to 7-11?

    • Sorry havent done it myself…
