Lowest price for awhile. Still using the one I bought in April 2024 for $40. Used it heaps and even today trimmed branches. Cuts like butter, best saw I've used. Bought another for a backup.

    Would be interested to know this as well. Saxon is less than a third of the price (the Trojan half the price) - not sure if this price discrepancy is accounted for by quality or durability

      I have the Saxon. Absolutely useless. The blade is like a thin piece of tin.

      sorry, nothing exciting. Was just trying to prune a mulberry tree. It would be difficult to prune with a normal blunt saw. Damn, i piad $48.

        Sure it was the same one? There are two. I paid even more than you.. looks similar but not the same, and the two models were different prices at the same time. I still feel like I got ripped off but there does seem to be a difference between the two.

  How rustproof is this? Previous Trojan one became all rusted in a year of chopping small branches and banana shoots (did get covered in banana goo).

    I've used mine heaps for a year and it hasn't rusted like my previous cheap saw. I brush it off after use and leave it a cupboard indoors. When it gets really dirty I soak it in water + dish washing liquid, toothbrush the gunk off and let it fully dry.
