  • Did you mean "Rebulb" - with a new bulb?

  • Does anyone have any experience with these certified refurbs?

    • I suspect they will be like new, likely returns that have been checked, repaired and now present like new. Lenovo warranty repair was flawless for me. I assume their refurb would be solid too.

I think it's great that they refurb instead of scrap.

But does anybody know why there are so many Legion go refurbs? I find that every second week there is a new big batch of them for sale. Either direct from Lenovo or via grays.

I haven't seen half as many refurb units for sale of other handhelds

    • Probably a lot of people who bought without thinking and just returned it out of regret.

There's probably not as many of other handhelds refurbished because they don't offer refurbished in australia.

Very suspicious, probably qualify is not good and of them are being returned for repairs. For refurbished items I would expect this to be abound $500-$600.

      • I wouldn't jump to that conclusion.

im not seeing many reports of poor quality Lenovo handhelds (at least no more than other handhelds)

      • I’ve had mine for ages and it’s been solid. Uncomfortable but solid. They’re not known to have major issues across most devices, like the original Ally did.

I would recommend installing the official SteamOS if you do pick one up. Much lighter and user friendly than Windows in this form factor and still has excellent game compatability.

    • Thanks for the tip! I was seriously considering the Go S posted the other day but was holding out for a deal on the Go due to the detachable joysticks and stronger processor.

Wasn’t sure of whether the Go had official steamOS support so thanks for confirming

      • You can also install Bazzite on there which is a pretty solid operating system which in running on my laptop.

I have steam OS on my Lenovo legion go and cabt fault it.

Have bought one refurbished, was in new condition. No visible signs of being used. Windows does use a lot more power and ram, so i suggest installing CatchyOS handheld, its like steamOS.

  • Says not available

  • Microsoft are said to be working on a lighter version of Windows for handhelds. Handheld PC gaming isn't a fad, I hope. I'd swap my gaming laptop for a powerful handheld if I can game and do work on it docked with 2 screens.

For anyone who has one of this, upgrade to a 81wh battery is a great way to improve the battery life. I got one from AliExpress that works great.

    • Also consider 3D printed grips. It has the most uncomfortable controller I’ve ever used. I’m glad they smoothed it out in the new one, but whoever thought a sharp edge in your palm was a good idea, should hand in their industrial design credentials.

    • Hello can you share the link on AliExpress you bought the battery from? Thanks.

  • Showing as coming soon for me. So looks like out of stock already.
