My turkey Netflix account suddenly got deleted and I have to 'restart' my membership when I log back in again.
Has anyone experienced something like this???
I tried chatting with Netflix but seems like they are not available lately..
Anyone got the same issue and know how to fix this? I already prepaid using giftcard until next year!! :(

Yeah, had 1000try but cannot see it anymore. Oh well. Good while it lasted. Wife and kids watch it lots so got the $18.99 plan. Even though got Plex and watchlistarr. They cannot wait 10 minutes for it to download lol.
@Mikael: Stremio and Realdebrid. Will check out Watchlistarr, I use Overseer. But with Stremio, plex is now mainly used for my personal footage and audiobooks.
@UltimateAI: Yes, got Rd stremio, Usenet. So set. Still paying for Netflix for convenience. Good as long it lasted cheaper. Watchlistarr with Plex is awesome.

You should ask them confirm which clause enables them to terminate the account AND not refund pro-rata. Make them work for their stolen money.
@tenpercent: That would take them all of 5 seconds as they explicitly state subscriptions are nkn refundable and no pro-rata is provided for a cancelled account.
@gromit: Generally, companies can shove their T&C’s up their arses if they are not legal.. but in this case, they can still refund us in the form of a turkey gift card and tell us to shove it up our own.

Sort of but you're not a resident of Turkey so they can do whatever they want. If they don't want our money, that's fine, just watch all the content for free instead. They already got $USD18B in pure profits last year, they don't need any more profit. At some point a business goes from an honest and fair operation into a greedy money grabbing organisation just because they can, Netflix is well past honest and fair, they are charging far more than they need to so that the two CEOs can take home the combined pay of 1800 workers every single year.

Based on replies and posts on OZB. At least the order or reading messages that I followed, most of the messaging was about the 25% price hike in gift cards due to them no longer being available. And then…. the messages about reset accounts started becoming more visible.
Same, mine was cancelled too. topped up 1000TRY last month. So "lost" 600TRY. oh well. It was a good run.
Remember that Netflix makes a lot of money when you buy gift cards and open accounts that they terminate without refund or notice.

@hothed: Yes, android TV and mobile android has a stremio app, which you may need to sideload. Stremio on iOS is not an app but the stremio site tells you how to install it. I'm not 100% sure about apple TV.

Doesn't work on Google OS because you can't side load. I use a $30 fire stick HD (non 4k cos my TV is still just FHD at 14y.o) and it works bonza.
Took me as a novice about 30 minutes to set up all 3 of real debrid, stremio player and then stremio apps. There's a separate reddit that has apps you can also side load. Good luck.

@Davelovesdealz: Keep in mind big macs include producing the ingredients in each country, shipment, storage, handling, cooking, training, physical stores, equipment, rent etc. So many costs to list. Once Netflix has a digital copy of their films they get copy & pasted when people stream them. There is virtually no reproduction costs after development.

Being a pirate means you need to know exactly what you want to watch. Netflix is good to just browse different categories/languages to see what might be interesting.

After they terminated my Turkish account, I restarted the membership by paying through a foreign country's card and it worked fine for couple of days untill they ended the membership again today.Anyone knows a way around to it, probably create a new account?

I just tried it last night and paid $28. Works well but if youre after constant 4k and sound, or stream on your iphone/ipad its not for everyone. Also not every show can be found like selling sunset doesnt have all the episodes wife wanted to watch.

https://web.stremio.com + RD works with iOS. Use an external player like VLC to get things working. Not as good as a native app but works well.
@richmond12: It means the video player on stremio doesn’t work on iOS. So use an external player like VLC to play the file. You can set stremio to play with another app in the settings.

@snuke: Oh right. I couldn't get on to Turkey chat. I did call, but you can imagine how that went (not english). S I just use the Aus live chat. The angle being that I made the account in Turkey and am using it in Australia.
