    Are these compatible with n40l? If so, do they require heatsink clipping?

      not sure, but I'd say thay are unlikely to fit without some heatsink modification. Probably not worth the risk imho, but this looks to be great ram for a regular pc.

    I've just done the big N40L memory search and found this (or another brand) for the same price on Amazon.
    But hey won't ship ANY memory to me at all????

    Running this exact kit in my gaming box. Bought it a month ago for $95. Be careful, the fins are big. Rock solid, very good quality, will be buying Patriot in the future. G-skill is crap. You want either this, Kingston, or Corsair. Or Crucial if you can get it.

    Have marked as expired as now, Amazon seem to have defaulted to Tigerdirect stock, but their status was getting more soon, so when they have more I will let you guys know.

      Should only take a couple of days. But i don't think it would guarantee that it will still be $74 delivered after new stock arrives.
