        I just asked via live chat & got an ETA of Tuesday:

        "Due to a high volume of Gift Card requests being processed this week, there may be some delays beyond our usual timeframe. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please rest assured that your Gift Card will be sent to your email shortly. We also recommend checking your spam or junk folder, as delivery emails may sometimes be filtered there. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding.

        These should be out to customers by Tuesday afternoon"

          F***ing ridiculous that online orders are waiting for this non-sense while instore orders were fulfilled immediately.

    Any one have a screenshot of the extended date to 14th?
    Had some weird issues buying the phone which cause my order to get cancelled and then they had to send me a custom checkout with the $350 Off s special price and worried that the gift card won't be sent

    Replying to a few of the above comments. I contacted online chat again today, this time they told me to go into the store I picked the phone up from, and ask them directly about the GC that still hasn't arrived.

    This was a direct contradiction to the previous conversations which told me that my gift card was just delayed due to processing issues.

      Yes deducted device trade in value of $85 (pixel 6a) yesterday (pee-ordered and picked on 28th aug 2025)

        They had a hold on the money in my account. The money was released about 3 days ago. They haven't charged my account yet

          They will deduct from the card in the upcoming days (they might be waiting a couple of weeks for the courier to arrive and then charge your account as they haven't received it yet).

      presumably there is no great penalty for doing this once, but if you do it too many times the refurb company won't accept any future trade ins?

        Not sure about it, and I would have continued to use my Pixel 6a if Google didn't nerf the battery with Android 16.
