40

This being my first submission I hope all goes well

This is directly from their website

"Save up to 75% in our end of season sale. Jermyn Street quality at great sale prices. Brilliant!"

From my cursory overview their prices seem similiar to TMLewin but not sure who provides better quality goods.

  • Do not have any 42cm neck 82cm sleeve.

TM Lewin is better quality. They use two-ply cotton and is a bit thicker than CT shirts.
TM Lewin non-iron shirts are better than the CT equivalent as well.

I prefer the CT shirts, find they are easier to iron and have brass stiffeners instead of plastic as well.

      • CT seem to offer a much greater customisation including monograms, pockets, etc. Are their sizes and fit comparable to TM Lewin?

    • I have brought TMLewin's tailored fit shirts and a suit myself and they are fantastic. Never purchased from CT as of yet, thanks for the heads up

  • Just be careful with return, it is not free, and it has to be send to the UK. For a suit, the cost is around $90.

  • none in my size :(

  • Do they have any 91 Long suits left? How do you do a search by jacket size?

  • Just ordered a couple of shirts. Thanks OP. Great selection of sizes. I have trouble finding sleeves long enough normally.

    Hi everyone,

I just recently bought shirts from both TM Lewin (2) and CT Shirts (5). I bought extra slim/ fully fitted for both and what people have been saying is basically right. TM Lewin is slightly thicker which is better for Winter and CT I prefer so far especially in the summer. The shirts do tend to shrink a little in the wash so be prepared for that :)

    • Have yet to wash mine, how much do they shrink by? I got measured up by a TMLewin salesperson and they told me the right size for me, I hope they factored in the shrinkage

      • I reckon my sleeves shrunk about 1-2 cm's, I'm not good with the collar so I'm not too fussed. I think TM Lewin measured me to be a 87 sleeve but I think I got 89-90 at CT which is perfect.

  • I agree with some of the other comments. I was a bit disappointed in my TM Lewin shirts. They did seem to shrink a little and now fit ok but not great - if I had been warned I would have made a bit of allowance.
Also, except for one, they are really hard to iron.
Now I only regularly wear one or two of the TM Lewin shirts I bought.

    • I also find that they are a pain to iron, I got the fully tailored shirts

  • I assume you machine washed and on hot setting for the shrinkage, we hand washed my TM Lewin and there doesn't seem to be an issue
