  • Cool. I'll probably grab one during lunch on Tuesday :)

Usually manager specials mean their about to expire can you confirm the expiration date

brown water, flavouring and aspartame has an expiry date?

    • +8

Pepsi next has no aspartame.. Stevia is used as sugar replacement. However… Note.. It's not sugar free. It has free sugar with the drink. :-)

~29 cents a can for the lazy people out there ;)

    not a bad deal!

  • I assume will be next to the pepsi max lime in next month at local right price, pity their soft drinks are never cheap anymore :/

    Seems in different countries it has different ingredients, Stevia is said to not have any bad effects;

As listed in the Pepsi bottle:
    - carb water
    - sugar
    - colour http://www.naturalnews.com/031383_caramel_coloring_cola.html
    - food acid
    - flavours
    - steviol

Yeah the AU version is completely different product to the USA version.

  • This stuff tastes terrible, but it's cheap, so I have to buy it!

  • +2

I've seen this discounted at quite a few places now - I'm guessing it wasn't well received, and they're clearing the last of the stock. I tried some the other day, nearly couldn't finish the can!

i got a few boxes from coles the other week i think it tastes great

    • +5

Yeah i dont mind it either.

Hopefully it doesn't fail as the idea is good. It has taken ages for stevia based sugar replacement to get to mainstream drinks. Removing 30% of the sugar from drinks without using chemical sweeteners should be done more often.

      • Not if there going to taste like Pepsi Next!

        • what dont you like about the flavour
the way i feel you can taste the "cola" flavour more then coca cola in the pepsi next
i have a can right now

        • It may just be a case of what you are used to. We have had a few bottles of this and i think the taste is fine.

  • Is this at any other iga stores?

    • Not at Richies IGA, WoyWoy NSW Central Coast.

  • I usually drink Pepsi Max. Tried Next, did not like it. So I suggest you try before you buy a whole box.

  • I also saw a big stack of Pepesi Next 1.25L bottles for 59c at IGA in Dianella, WA. They are best before in mid March.

  • I bought at this price back in 2007/2008. Awesome price.

  • As if people would respond to mid-strength sugar range in cola!

    It's either all or nothing!

But to be honest I'm not touching the drink coz I can't stand the annoying advert!
