        OP posted it a few mins ago and got taken down as Requested by OP (scroll a few deals before this deal)

        I saw that challenge when OP posted it first initially. My mate bought a gift card and the $3 promo disappeared and now reappeared with re-activation required again.

        He confirmed with me that he didn’t even get the $3 when it disappeared from the app

        I was about to proceed to buy but luckily I needed to transfer money and checked again.

        I just opened the app and had a look at the Earn More section. There's only one $3 cashback offer but it is not this one. The only $3 cashback offer I can see involves scanning receipts

        Perhaps this deal is 'unobtainable', since it no longer exists on Shopback?

        I'm going to bet targeted. But both $3 and $10 are appearing in mine and my partner's account. I use SB a lot more than her. So I don't understand the targeting… But not complaining!

          My tl;dr is: ANZ bought Cashrewards a few years ago through their venture capital arm. Today's closure is essentially a combination of continued underperformance against ANZ expectations (some would argue as a result of lack of development), plus a new ANZ CEO coming on the scene pushing through a cost-cutting agenda and company-wide restructure.

        Similar for me. Gift card purchase tracked almost immediately, and the base cashback was confirmed less than an hour after tracking. The $3 bonus then tracked about 1.5 hours after purchase.

    So i used $20 shopback gift card which i had sitting there to purchase a $30 amazon giftcard, but only $10 was tracked. No where in the t&cs does it say you cant use it towards paying for a giftcard and not count toward the $30. not happy.

      they have to be receipts from a participating list of retailers, for a purchase within the past 14 days. you can see the info if you click through. its a lot of fine print for a 5 cent reward.
