  An audiophile would be concerned at dust and dirt on their vinyl. Why wouldn't such an expensive item include a cover?

    An audiophile wouldn't buy a cheap turntable, and they sure as hell wouldn't buy one with a built in amp

  Pretty good price. I know a few people who might baulk at the "worlds best integrated TT" claim though. It's like saying "the best terrible idea ever!"

  I bought a tv off these guys a few years ago.. Excellent service, it was when they used to be in Doncaster shopping center. Back when a Loewe tv was affordable!

  Still like heading into the current store every now and then for a look.

  Yep, true audiophiles only use separates … So they can purchase more $500 wankium plated cables to connect them all together.

  This would be a great clutter & hassle-free starting point for someone wanting to get into vinyl sure however why they didn't include a simple phono and/or line-out baffles the hell outta me! What were they thinking?!?

  If this had some kind of output other than speaker level then this would be so much more versatile as it could still be used with other gear on the long & expensive journey to become an 'audiophile' (whatever that really is). I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to mod one for a few bucks but why oh why didn't they build this in as standard?!?

    You can get the Carbon USB for line out. Got one from Encel when they had 20% off last month. Very happy with it.

    Wow. Just looked @ whirlpool thread….Sounds like the same Encel.
    Looks like they should be avoided after reading that…
