  • "HD display with 10-finger mult-touch (1024x600"

That resolution isn't HD. Minimum 1280×720 for HD, 1920×1080 to be "Full HD". This is neither.

"HD" is nothing more than a buzzword nowadays.

is 'all-day computing' just a catch phrase, too? I wish my working days were only 7 hours long…

      • well.. if your 'working hours' involve watching videos, then it'll be 2or 3 hours! :)

I think the new Acer is better with dual core CPU and Jelly Bean for the same price from DSE

    • Its a give and take.

      Acer only has 512mb ram

      • Yes, and in every other market overseas where it's been launched the bloody thing is selling for the very keen equivalent of 150 bucks. Here for 200.
        Scandalous - but predictable.

        • Yeah wait and see the price drop. HN, DSE … they always mark the price very high initially.

        • There'll be price drops in overseas markets too.
It's not a tablet that I'm the least bit interested in but with a little luck - and research - people won't be silly enough to pay the 'introductory' price in Oz.

  • Uses a VIA WM8950 CPU - Single core A9 based processor, 1Ghz.
