Wedding RunSheet App (Get Started with 8 Free Invitation Credits)

10
FreeFeb

Hi all,

For those who are getting married, this is an app that I created and used for my own wedding. I am hoping it can be of assistance to others too. The app focuses on group collaboration on the wedding day by given the invited users all the useful tools such as personalised calendar, reminders, group chat and even location tracking. You can find more information about it on the website at http://weddingrunsheet.com/

To claim the free invitation credits, you will need to:
1. Create an account either via downloading the app from iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/wedding-runsheet/id516785485… or directly via website https://admin.weddingrunsheet.com/register/
2. After logging in, click on 'My User Account' on the left hand side of website at https://admin.weddingrunsheet.com/
3. Finally enter the promo code 'FreeFeb' at the bottom of the page

Apologies the web backend isn't as refined as it should be. It was originally created as a fallback for the Android users. Love to hear some feedback about the app as I would love to develop it further.

PS. The way the app works is that for every person you invite to your event to help you organise your wedding (eg, groomsmen, bridesmaid or photographer etc), you will need to use 1 invitation credit. You can create as many events as you want (to be used for bucks or hens party organisation even).

PSS. I have changed the promotion and increased the free invitation credits to 8 instead! For those who already claimed their free credits, I will make sure you guys get 8 too.

Happy Valentine ;)

This is part of Valentine's Day Sales for 2013.

    • I don't see why the app would discriminate on how it's used :p

For those who are getting married,

    I'll pray for them.

    • Unfortunately you didn't pray hard enough for me. Now I am in a living hell.

P.S. If my wife reads this I am only joking.

      • Blackmail time? :D

You didn't take warning from the App's title…

So 3 credits would get you your fiance, best man and maid of honour. How much for the rest of the bridal crew? Thats the real question.

Edit: even after setting up an event I can't see what the cost is. Too much effort to find info that should be provided up front and not hidden.

    • Hi Atlas,

The current charging model is basically $0.99 for every person you invite into your event to help you organise your wedding. Will definitely change the copy so that it's nice and clear on the costings, as it's never our intention to be unclear. Thank you very much for your feedback :)

          No, i'm a Methodist Youth Leader…?

  • I don't understand the pricing model, what does 'invitation credits' actually do?

    • From what I can work out you need to buy credits in app and then you need to use those credits to invite friends to the event.

      • lol, why ???

    • The invitation credit are used every time you invite someone to your event who is tasked to organise your wedding (eg, bridal party, photographer and videographer etc). It's not required for general guests though :)

Will do my best to change the content on the website to explain it clearer. Thank you for your valuable feedback :)

  • I'm 5 months from my wedding and this would be perfect except the credit system is crap (not that I can work out how much it costs). Rather than having a free app with a stupid credit system perhaps you should just charge for an 'organising' app (say $5) and have a free user app.

That way people can be invited to the event for free and the organisers just pay a small charge to download the app. Or combine the two into one but perhaps just charge $1 to create an event. Beyond something cheap and simple I'm just not interested and I'm your target audience.

    • And if your guests don't have an iPhone, they're not invited?

      • I don't think it's an invite as much as more of a tool for organising the event. I'd try it but I refuse to do the whole invite credit thing.

      • Hi jv,

At the moment there isn't an Android or Windows version yet. However if you don't have iPhone, you can still access the web version (admin.weddingrunsheet.com).

    • Thank you SirFibbled for your feedback. The reason why it's currently not 'fixed cost' is because I am hoping for people to play with app and create as many events as they want without cost. However, point taken, will definitely review the costing model to make it less confusing. Appreciate you taking the time to write down your thoughts :)

  • Great app. :) well done rep. Hope to pass this bargain to my engaged friends.

    • Thanks djcharliek :)
