    Be wary of these folks, cheap yes but often cheap imported rubish. I bought an apple 30 pin to lightning adapter advertised as apple and that all functions worked - they do not it was useless.

    I got the same looking OTG cable from another seller, and both times they sent it to me, it didn't work.
    Power flowed through, but one of them failed to recognise any devices, most likely due to bad contact with the pins and the device.

    The 2nd one didn't work at all, the power came on, however no detection of devices at all, most likely due to pin issues too.

    You'd be lucky to get one working i'd say.

        It was the actual cable itself. Wasn't an issue with any of my devices. I bought one from this guy and it worked straight away:

        I am not saying the one here won't work. Just pointing out there may be a quality control issue with the ones which look like the ones which the deal is trying to sell.

        It shouldn't need to be rooted. Most newer devices support it. Just Google your phone and put 'USB otg' after it. Rooting might just unlock some features like xbox controller support

    How do bigger usb's go with these cables? I have a few usb's that are a bit fatter just after the plug and these cables look like they have a bit of an overhang.

      If you mean for example 2TB HDD this still works with AC power support or the Y USB cable connected to a power supply. The Y USB has two USB ports connected into one to give more power.As long as its getting additional power it'll work perfectly.

        Not quite, I was asking about the full size USB port, and if larger sized (width of usb) usb's will fit into the female USB port.

      Same. I bought these after deal expired thinking support local.
      Wow, worst decision ever. Taking longer than if i ordered from china (2 weeks in post), more expensive on normal pricing, and zero customer service.
      Received notification email on 4th march "its in post, expect 1-2 days to sydney" … 1 week later still nothing.

      Just tried using the mobile phone contact number 0468 477 332 from their website and its DISCONNECTED!
      Emails went unreplied.

      Free neg and paypal dispute for you.
