As part of Parks Week 2013, Cleland Wildlife Park are having a gold coin donation entry for tomorrow only between 9:30am and 3:30pm. You just need to mention to the gate staff 'Parks Week' when buying your entry. There's also guided bike rides for yo family. Tickets are normally $20 Adult, $16 Concession & $10 15 and under.

Slightly less exciting, there's also free entry to Belair National Park on Sunday 3rd (see link).

    From Cleland Park Web site : Opening hours : 9.30am - 5pm daily (except Christmas Day).
    But gold coin donation entry says only between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

    Does it mean that we will have to leave the park before 3:30pm ?

    My little son will be busy till 1pm tomorrow, so it looks like we won't be able to make it (taking into account that it will take at least ~30 minutes to have a lunch plus ~45 minutes to get there).

    PS just wondering are they gonna close at 3:30pm, or the ones who gonna stay after 3:30pm will have to pay full price 8-) ;-) 8-) ?

      I think it means 3:30pm is the latest you can enter the park. Not the time you have to leave.

    Soundwave, Fringe, Clipsal 500… and they decide to have free entry for 1 day only during these events? Nice publicity stunt.

      I am not too happy with not having let's say one park free one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and the other one next weekend, but … it's what they offer and it's free. So I'll just try to make the most of both of them.

      Having the Clipsal 500 is exactly why I'd want to get away from the city and from all those Salisbury/Elizabeth people.
