On special again - Sells out relatively quickly. Not as good value as the Pacific + Band Of Brothers that sells for $30 when on sale, but this special edition usually $50+ ($62 at Jbhifi) by itself so if you have Band Of Brothers, complete your 'collection' with this sweet deal.

    What does it mean by special tin edition? Are the discs in the tin or is there a blu ray cover with discs inside with the tin?

      Its good. Band of Brothers is better in my opinion as it is like PG compared to pacific. Pacific is a lot more intense and full on. A real eye opener to what the heroes that served in the pacific went through.

      Nowhere near as good. The acting pedigree in The Pacific is a lot younger and less experienced. It's also too cliche and jingoistic; BoB at least attempted to emphasize with and humanize ordinary Wehrmacht men on the front lines… The Pacific is balls-out, ooo-rah 'Murica fck yeah jingoism.
