        They will only hold the reservation up to 6hrs and then release it back to the machine if not picked up in time

  Just a thought, are these machines networked? ie. if you get it from one, would another prevent you from getting one?

    If you use a different credit card and email you can get another one from the same machine. Saves you the trip to another machine.

        Actually, come to think of it, I think you can use the same card, but just use a different email. try it and let us know! :)

  Sounds like a noob but its my first time renting from the kiosk. When exactly do you key in the promo code? Before check out and swiping the card? Just checking to make sure I didn't end up paying for it and not realise it.

    I wasn't sure about that last time but yes, it's very close to the end but you get a chance to put code before putting card in.

  Seems to be taking a long time to reserve. Is there a problem with the reservations system?

    I found it can take up to 2 hours before a confirmation email.
    But the 6 hours time limit starts from the time reserved, not from the email confirmation.

  Thanks OP, worked well (1st time user). Was able to get 2 using different emails and cards.

  Re entering the Promo code: You select the movie you want on the screen. Then there is a press button choice to proceed and one to enter the code before you swipe your card. Super easy. Now to enjoy.
