Guy told me he had good and bad news
Bad news is they have none, good news is they havent received any (even though they were supposed to be delivered 10 days ago)
As always they blame Asus for the stuff up, but the guy admitted to at least ten other catalogue items that still haven't been received (all Asus, I think not).This is for the WA stores … anyone been able to pick one up elsewhere?
I sent my wife down to Campbelltown (Sydney) store this morning, and apparently they hadn't received stock yet but were expecting it today.
Or perhaps whey made a pricing mistake and are covering their tracks?
I went to my local shop today and it has still not arrived yet. The guy said they are expecting it any day now, but has no real idea when the truck comes in.
Update I received this afternoon said expecting Tuesday or Wednesday … just in time before the end of the "sale" period.
That's a lie. They will never have stock.
This is an illegal "Bait and Switch" act.
Report them to NSW Department of Fair Trading, and Australia Consumer & Competition Commission.
'Only' 16", but hey… use it to dock your 7"/9"/10" netbook. Gets a +ve from me for $98.
