Zero is worse than the normal coke as it contains aspartame.

      • Cool propaganda bro.

Aspartame (a.k.a "NutraSweet") and Artificial Sweeteners are a multi-billion dollar industry. ($1.1 bill for Aspartame in 2010 alone)

You think its distributors don't read the news and contact PR firms/freelance "experts" to spin shit their way?

Personally I'm not drinking anything that was bankrolled and specifically petitioned for by Donald Rumsfeld, but that's just me; if he can lie about the deaths of a million people being predicated on non-existent WMD's, he can shove poison into our drinks and tell us it's good for you.

That might make too much sense for others though.

8 days over 30 degrees and now they decide to offer free coke after the cool change …

I feel like negging just on that basis (as unfair as it might be)

i can tell you these taste worse than the coke zero you would buy from supermarket, convenience store.

    • Why?

    • +3

Right because these are special cans created for these events that have deliberately been made to taste bad.

exactly dude. spot on or i love being a crankyoldman. ill let you decide

        • props for admitting you're a cranky old man

Think about the cost just to make sure these tasted worse than your usual kind, and the point of making it taste worse when it's suppose to promote the product.

  • they are special for sure… only 200 ml.

  • I've gone cold turkey on all fizzy drinks for a few months now , effect I see is weight lose and more energy! Best decision I ever made.

Wild Turkey and Coke zero ? Sure. Why not.

  • This would never happen in Brisbane!

NO FOOD OR DRINKS ON THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT >:(

I love going to Sydney, get to drink on the trains. It's the little things.

    • WTF? I want to neg that comment, to neg the "no food drink"… thats crap… grown adults cant eat and drink… cant wait till a diabetic sue's them…

      • +1

same rule in perth too. it's up to driver's discretion. the rule is mostly for feral toerags who don't have any respect for public property and leave a mess for other passengers to sit in.

        • hmmi can see your point never had an issue in melbourne, this is especially bad with parents with kids, babies/young kids dont get that you have to wait for food sometimes.

        • yeah that's why discretion is so important.

still nothing like singapore where it's a $500 fine if you're caught eating or drinking on mrt trains or even at the station.

imo, it's a bit over the top to not allow even a sip of water while waiting for the train knowing how hot it gets over there.

  • The one time I'm not in the city… :(
