I noticed that, but Far Cry 3 is unfortunately not high on my insta-buy list

      • +3

im considering getting it, but then thats $40 for 3 games, of which i'll only play 1.
better off with FC3 code from elsewhere for ~$26

        • you get the DLC also

        • +1

It should be on everyone's play list. It is a really good game with a gripping story and a lot of diversity. I hated FC2, it was dull and monotonous, FC3 is unbelievably good.

        • +2

So far the DLC hasn't been anything note worthy.

have to agree i love far cry. even the 1st and second have good replay value

        • cant decide between FC3 and tomb raider

        • ya gotta go farcry 3. the wombraider is just not on par

        • +2

          second have good replay value

          FC2: Jeep Simulator.

        • disagree with acrankyoldman, have both and personally think tombraider is a better game

  • +2

Also, RRP is 69.95, so not really 50% off…

  • fantastic downloading it now. yipee

    • tell me you got the bundle, not the standalone

      • I've got FC1 and FC2 - why would I get the bundle, any reasons?

EDIT - it is cheaper anyway, that's so odd.

        • +1

cheaper and also includes the FC3 dlc.

        • Cheers dude, got the bundle anyway ;)

You're welcome to gift me your spares ;)

          get in line :p

    • +2

ya gotta go the bundle. extra content and the first two series plus not have to wait 2 weeks for delivery and steam which makes it so easier than having a dvdrom

  • The reason I posted was this is the cheapest i've seen the game on steam. uplay keys have always been cheap.

    • As I understand it it's a uplay game - there is no benefit other then a link, you can add yourself anyway - by by the 'Steam' version.

      • +1

The benefit is that you get to use the Steam community features.

    • Not exactly the cheapest it has been:

      • Note - 'Cheapest on Steam'

        • yeah the last was most likely some pissed of ubi worker or some clown on a price changing mission

  • I just logged into steam and it is $30

What is the difference between original and delux?

    Thanks

    • deluxe has dlc

  • I bought the original FarCry for $2.49, thanks. I always hated installing it from my 5 cd version, although I haven't played it in years!

  • FYI Far Cry 3 is $23.22 if you buy it through the UK Steam store for those with access to that (£15.99).

      sounds complicated

  • Does the Steam version still require Uplay to be installed and running?

    • I'm fairly certain that it does.

    • yes

      • Think I'll pass on that then, cheers

  • Anyone know of any cheap Uplay keys?
