just got an email confirming approval of the headphones. so for purchase of 2 vodka getting jambox and speakers. in the headphones offer one of the options in the drop down box is other, just select this. i used this for my purchases from dans.
but you have to upload a receipt and they would see it is not a participating store? anyway not sure can be bothered headphones dont look that good
i didn't upload the receipt I sent it in with the confirmation number that was provided on the website, as per their instructions. i guess the option "other" covers this promotion for other stores. all I know is that they have approved my claim and are sending the headphones. for $15 outlay, can't be too bad.
The terms and conditions say- "clearly and legibly write their Claim Number on their Store Receipt and mail the original Store Receipt for the Eligible Purchase in a stamped envelope".

yep the BIG jambox - more power more sound more buttons BUT not as portable and funky - i have not stopped loving the little jambox since i got it - already updated the voice with the sexy lady - and I have used it for hours still has 3/4 full (according to the delectable Estelle)

I've just discovered something peculiar… The sound is distorted when turned right up, playing through Poweramp (android music player app). Switching to the stock music player at maximum volume makes it alot louder and the distortion is gone. Have tried to adjust the settings in Poweramp, turned down preamp and reset all equaliser settings but doesn't seem to have helped. Anyone have any ideas?

Got my Black Diamond in Perth today, shipping took 8 days, not too bad. Very happy with the device after flashing the firmware. Live audio sounds great with Movies/TV, but I think I prefer regular audio for music as it's capable of higher volume.
agree regular audio for music - live audio puts a weird aura around the sound

Got my Jambox this morning, love it been playing music all morning.
Only 4 blue models left… or are they!? Most likely all gone once 4 more claims are approved.
not 100% sure, but i think the count is based on submitted claims, rather than approved claims. i say this because the counter went down by 1 for red immediately when i claimed my red unit, while no other numbers changed. it's highly unlikely they approved a claim at the exact same time as i submitted mine.
so i would say those 4 blues are still up for grabs as long as they're still listed.

Definitely recommend downloading the updates from the Jawbone website. Live Audio scoops out the mids a little and makes the low end sound a lot better though it makes the max volume quieter, very worthwhile update and you can interchange better the standard audio and Live Audio easily.

I like it, but the sound with Live Audio on is really not that loud at all and Live Audio sounds significantly better than the regular audio. Still great device to have and will have alot of good uses.
I'm amazed that this deal lasted so long. When I first seen it posted I thought it would be lucky to last 48 hours before all the jamboxes were claimed.

Well these truly are horrible little pieces of sh*t.
Worked fine for a couple of hours, decided to test out the 3.5mm jack and now bluetooth doesnt work because the device thinks there is a 3.5mm jack inserted all the time even when there isn't.
This is a well documented manufacturing flaw according to the official forums.
so whats the solution when that happens?
There's a few tutorials on youtube that involve opening it up and soldering the 3.5mm connection point.
But this is a brand new unit that I just got today, and I'm not gonna fiddle around with opening it up as it should work as advertised.
Gonna give Jawbone a call tomorrow morning.
That sucks but I am sure you will not have a hard time getting a replacement unit sent out to you as it's covered by a 12 month warranty and inserting and removing the jack is intended use and you wouldn't have voided that warranty at all doing so.

Jawbone told me that as it was done through an international promotion I would need to seek a replacement from Absolut.
Absolut have apologised and are sending me a courier to pick it up, then when they receive it will send me a brand new one.
I just hope I don't have issues with the new one too…
Did you update the firmware before it happened? All the comments I read were by people that had updated firmware (or it wasn't specified) …so I'm thinking it may be safer to leave mine on the stock firmware.
I haven't read about this happening on stock firmware.
Updated the firmware as soon as I had fully charged it.
Unit was working perfectly on the latest firmware till I tried the 3.5mm cable out.
