Did you know that it is a sin for a woman to make coffee?

It is in the Bible!! It says . . "He-brews"

      Good one ;-)

People ask me if I wake up grumpy in the morning… I reply - No, I just bring her some coffee!!!

Thanks bm, gotta sell some coffee before I drink all my stock ;-)

  • Good deal but being the only coffee drinker in the house I only need 30 grams a day. I will give you a + for the deal though. I am hoping I can get some mates in on the deal and divide it up.Thanks for the effort.

    • +1

      That's what I do with mine! =)

Good deal again. FYI the Jamocha is awesome if you're racist (love your coffee 'white.')

But you know what they say, once you go black you can't go back. =P

        • no joke. i'm not going to use it, and i don't want it wasted on me. i'm not one of those people who order something just because it's free.
plus spoons are for people who use sugar. be a man and have black coffee ;)

    • Hey hkalanshiu, please send me your details so I can send you your spoon ;-)

  • Good deal, although I'm not a fan of the Jamocha

  • HI Does this coffee suit vietnamese filtered coffee style?

Or will I need to grind the beans myself?

    I see options for Grind.

Would I choose Espresso Grind, or

    Plunger, StoveTop, Drip?

If I want to make Vietnamese filtered coffee? I'm guessing Drip? as it drips through the filter?

Sorry I am a Noob when it comes to Coffee.

    • +1

There is an option to select either whole bean or the grind type you require. If you want us to grind for you I would recommend the plunger stovetop grind for the Vietnamese filtered coffee style.

If you do have your own grinder then it might be better to order whole beans and grind as you go due to whole beans staying fresher for longer

      • Thx for the response.

And Yes I do have a grinder. Cheers

        Just ordered some

  • Good deal! Wow, but I just got the delivery of my coffee bean.
Can I pay now and you deliver the fresh roasted one month from now ? :-)

I am still enjoying your coffee from the last offer, both my wife are very happy with it so I won't be buying any this round but will + for the good product provided!

    • Thanks French1e ;-)

    • That's what I did as well - green plus from me.
But I have the same "issue" - still finishing the previous batch. So instead of buying this time I sent link to a couple of friends who was interested before…

This elderly lady went to the doctor for a check-up. Everything checked out fine.
The old lady pulled the doctor to the side and said, "Doctor, I haven't had sex for years now and I was wondering how I can increase my husband's sex drive."
The doctor smiled and said, "Have you tried to give him Viagra?"
The lady frowned. "Doctor, I can't even get him to take aspirin when he has a headache," she claimed.
"Well," the doctor continued, "Let me suggest something. Crush the Viagra into a powder. When you are giving him coffee, stir it into the coffee and serve it. He won't notice a thing."
The old lady was delighted. She left the doctor's office quickly.
Weeks later the old lady returned. She was frowning and the doctor asked her what was wrong.
She shook her head. "How did it go?" the doctor asked.
    "Terrible, doctor, terrible."
    "Did it not work?"
"Yes," the old lady said, "It worked. I did as you said and he got up and ripped his clothes off right then and there and we made mad love on the table. It was the best sex that I'd had in 25 years."
"Then what is the problem, ma'am?"
"Well," she said. "I can't ever show my face in McDonald's again."

    • Hey Icefyre, please send me your details so I can send you your spoon ;-)

    • Honey, this coffee tastes like dirt.
    • That's not surprising, dear, it was just ground this morning.
    • Hey Cardz, please send me your details so I can send you your spoon ;-)

  • Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone has purchased these beans before and can give me some sort of guide on the taste of them.

    • To be fair I can't taste any special flavor in any coffee… But probably my tasting ability is not good enough. This coffee is not bitter, smells awesome and it's much more delicious compared to many other coffees I tried before. I bought Jamocha from Manna Beans before and it was great.

  • Hey mate, I'm a Long Black drinker and like my coffee fairly strong and with good crema. Can you recommend me something. I got 2 bags from the previous deal but need to think ahead :)
Personally not a fan of the Jamocha as I found it a little too acidic. Will be trying the Indian Tiger tonight but always keen to get some recommendations.

    • Hi Gimme,

Sure thing. The Jamocha and Tiger Mountain are better suited to milk based coffees as they have a good acidity to punch through the milk. For long black fairly strong coffees we have some great Kenyan beans.
      Both on our website:
      Kenya Mihuti AB
Kenya Mukangu AB – Fully Washed

      New coffees we've just received:
      Kenya Thiaru
      Kenya Kagamoini
      Kenya Fortuna
These 3 all have cupping scores in the 90's

Also highly recommend Ethiopian Yiracheffe fully washed. Got a few nice Rwandan coffees would suit long black as well.

When you run out and next need to order shoot me an email and I'll help you out with suitable coffees ;-)

      • Thanks!! I'm going to save this info for later.

Just tried the Tiger Mountain and really enjoyed it. It seems to have far less acidity than Jamocha and went down nicely as a LB. I'll try the kenyan next time (hopefully you'll do a deal on those in about 6-8 weeks :))

A guy walks into a coffee shop and asks the waitress: "How much is the coffee?" "Coffee is $5 the waitress says". "How much is a refill?" the man asks. "Free, "says the waitress. "Then I'll take a refill!" the man responds.

The waitress was refilling cups of coffee when she stopped at the table next to mine. "Regular?" She asked her customer?
"Yes thanks" said the man "Due to a steady diet of fruit"

  • I'm at the cart stage of the deal and it's saying the price is $47.95 not the $44.95 am I missing something here?

Edit:- Worked it out, I clicked the express post window d'oh!

Edit 2: Paid+done deal. Had a spoon worthy joke ready too but someone above me pinched it and used it already.
Do i get a small spoon for effort? >.<

    • Maybe a fork ;-)

  • Awesome ordered some. Seems legit.

"Starbucks is the best place to sell Kopi-Luwak……… because their coffee's taste just like shit"

(No offence to starbucks, I do like their frappe and no, kopi luwak doesnt taste like shit, unless they picked the wrong beans)

    • Nice one ;-)

  • What is Jamocha?
I can see it's a mix of cocoa flavours, but is that just in the beans?
Or do you actually mix in cocoa beans?

    • Hi Wade, no its a coffee blend consisting of Columbian, PNG and African coffee beans. It is due to the flavour characteristics of the coffee beans themselves and how they are roasted that bring out the chocolatey flavours

  • Anyone in Melbourne CBD wanna share some? I'm gonna order and sadly I can't run through 2Kg in 3 weeks, please PM me!

    • If you're drinking milk based drinks, do you think you could notice a significant deterioration in quality after 6 weeks? Or even 8 weeks?

I often home roast, so don't get this problem too much, but curious.

  • Not a joke, but I did witness quite a humourous event at a cafe that roasts the other day. True story:

A lady came in, furious, slamming a half empty bag of coffee beans on the counter. Said she soaked them all night, then cooked them, but they just wouldn't soften enough to eat.

Poor owner said days like this just makes him want to quit.

  • A better price if I buy 5kg?

  • Great deal!

    Order put through last night.

  • Great deal - just ordered.

    Thank you!
