Possibly a pricing error but the model did come out in 2010 and it's well and truly outdated by current day standards.

That said, I put an order through and will upgrade to Win8 the second it turns up (if it does).

    well when it came out it was ridiculously priced, tablet running a not very touch friendly windows 7. weighed a ton so you cant hold it for more than 5 mins. ms+hardware mfg's have been stinking up windows tablet market for years now. still struggling with win 8 and the 1000000 different hardware iterations to go with it.

  your right but barley under $1000 it was $998 (save $300) 3 months ago, do you really think in 3 months that they would discount the item $880? cnet has a review from May 2011 that prices the 32GB version as a base model and worth $1000 at the time.
