iPhone 4 deal is very fresh that JB listed just less than 3 hrs ago.

        • Recieved the phone from toll priority around 5:30PM SA time (very fast shipping)
Price on box says $1008 and ios 4.3.1
          Thanks OP

  • hi guys. need to get this.

    thanks.

edit: the ebay one turned out to be second hand. buying one from jb.

  • Expired by 8am NSW time.
    They're all gone.

    • Very good chance that Stock will be available again just like Nokia N8 this morning. Marked as expired but available again few hrs later (so I removed the expired tag). I will update it accordingly. Have a good day all.

  • Wow I hope I made it then, I only just placed an order for 2 and got an email confirming delivery in 4-5days.

Just grabbed a Nokia Lumia 800 for $199 for the wife :)

Love my Dell Windows 7.5 phone and the other half hasn't had a new phone in 3 years so big upgrade.

This thing is already slow(ish) and no doubt going to get slower.

  • Funny jbhifi is selling ipod 4 32gb for $278 and this iPhone 4 32gb is only $80 more.

  • Damn, I missed the iPhone deal - it's about time I updated my 3GS! I will check in store later to see what they can do. Out of interest, does "factory scoop" mean they're refurbished?

    • +1

no they're brand new. i think factory scoop means it's not available in store and it's just left over stock from their warehouse

  • Missed … does anyone know how to sort by price on jbhifionline? I tried few parameters with CatOrder but no luck…

  • +1

Hey I don't know if its worthwhile noting that its limited to 1per customer, just got an email from JB cancelling one of my orders. I didn't know that, and it wasn't listed on the product page but its in the T&Cs stating factory scoops are limited to 1per customer (clause 5.6). Not sure if this is something widely known?

  • I didnt know. I only bought one of a different phone too.

  • JBHifi already debited my account and took payment for the other factory scoop deal and now they are cancelling delivery. They clearly state that they no payment will be processed until delivery is to be made but they took my money and is now not delivering.

they took my money and is now not delivering.

they pulled a Snowgum on you?

  • Got am email today saying my order had been cancelled "due to overwhelming demand". Only ordered 1 so no idea why my order is not being honoured.

    • Same here… I wonder how many other orders they can't fulfil.

This Iphone seems locked to Telstra or Vodafone as it does not work for Optus sim.

    • +1

Yes, I too have found this. I have made a formal complaint via email to JB, as nowhere did it state that the phone was locked and for a locked phone then this was no bargain. I'll let you know what they say.

      • Same as me it works on my telstra sim but not my optus sim…"Invalid Sim" etc…

      • How much does it cost to unlock the phone mate?

Here's what I got from JB

Unfortunately we have only just been notified that these phones are locked. In order to have this resolved for you I have a set of instructions for you below, in order to have the phone unlocked.

        1) Please write/copy your phones IMEI number (a guide on how to do this can been seen from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4061)
        2) Once you have obtained your IMEI number, please call 125 111. This is a voice guided telephone number.
        3) When prompted, pronounce "I want to unlock iPhone". You should be then transferred to an operator.
        4) Then when asked provide the operator with your IMEI number, and your phone should be unlocked within 24 hours.

I got my son to do this for me and he had a little trouble and found that putting a Telstra Sim in the phone to activate it helped. He also had to ring twice as he was told the first time that the phone was unlocked, but the second time it was unlocked and now not a problem all for free. Good luck.

        • Buzymum20: Thank you for your help, my iphone is unlocked now after calling to telstra
