Woolworths Qantas Card with 20,000 Points

40

Probably a dupe, but couldn't find it in search.

20,000 QFF points when you apply by 30 April, are approved and make an eligible purchase by 30 June.

$89 Annual fee

I think you need to earn $50k per year.

  • hmmm… 20,000 points doesn't really get much

    • +1

14500 points gets you a $100 woolworths gift card so covers the annual fee for the first year and 1 point per $ on a master / visa is a good deal.

      • yeh i saw that just dont know if effort was worth it personally.
but yeh good deal if can be bothered

Are you a ozbargainer? No lazy in oz bargain

IMHO no one converting QFF points to giftcards is getting a great deal. Much better point per $ value to be had converting to classic, any seat awards, or upgrades.

It depends how you value the points. 20k points = 20k Qantas FF points, which can get you 2x classic award fares between east coast cities (ex taxes), or 1 including taxes with some change. This card is a decent earner for the price, and conveniently combines a Woolworths Everyday Rewards membership with the credit card if you spend at Woolworths/BigW/BWS etc

    • 2x flights melbourne to Canberra/Sydney/Brissie = $250-300 in value

      • if you take Qantas pricing.. yes. But there are a lot of other airlines doing those flights for a lot less.

        • Okay, just Melbourne<>Canberra then… I personally have to do it, so it works out well.

  • Or get 50,000 with AMEX for Velocity (income of $65,000 or more).

and pay 1-2% more to use it everywhere… no thanks.

      • Not many places still charge it, and if they do you just whip out another card…

        • +2

I have a work Amex, and yes a lot of places charge extra for Amex

    • More than $89 annual fee too I thunk?

  • 'Fee-free' Qantas American Express Discovery Card here
