    Free twix and Dare Mocha yesterday :)
    Was a bit worried about the 55g vs 53g twix thing. Also the Dare voucher says for Dare RAW but they didn't have any. Just picked a Mocha and she scanned and all good.

    Awesome…

    But no Snack O Wheel today :( Needs more likes to get back over 500,000?

      I was kind of wondering this. Though a lot of people don't use their real names for legit facebook accounts.

      Yeh scanned fine off a couple of different phones for me. No screen protectors though. And had to view the email in browser then zoom in til the barcode filled the screen

      Over the last year (more actually) I've tried a few different phones at a few different stores. Mixed results across them all.

      Safer to just print it if you can.

      If you can't then try save just the barcode image and open it in your image gallery. Sometimes landscape helps aswell.

    Iced coffee and jam donut for breakfast. Thank you 7-eleven. Feeling pretty disgusting but hell it was free.

    Went to get a free Twix in another shop too but the guy said he'd never heard of the promo and it was his second shift so no dice… Probably a good thing.

    Makes me wonder, I assume these stores are franchises, so would they get reimbursed or something by the mother shop for all these vouchers? I've got a stash already built up and kind of feel bad for these guys slaving away and I waltz in looking to cash in freebies.

    I am sure they would be reimbursed. They should have no trouble redeeming the voucher it is really very simple and instructions are on the voucher, there is no excuse for not accepting it.

      Yeh the guy basically seemed terrified that he was going to lose his job if he did honour it. Said he needed a print out to show his boss, in spite of me showing him the instructions. Can't complain, voucher is still valid elsewhere.

    If you refresh the wheel page and get the vouchers resent, you end up with a new barcode.
    Both work.

    Paste the following into notepad, save it as wheel.html, open it in your browser.

    The only check the wheel page does is "am I in a frame?" If no, it redirects. If yes, it stays open.

    Anyone else had problems? I've had these problems:

    1) Snack o wheel prizes were emailed to participants - but i never received a couple of mine. One was a packet of chips and i forget what else was not emailed.

    2) Upon entering Bonnyrigg 7-eleven at approximately 13:40 for 2 x slurpees that i was paying for, the attendant seemed to not know about the snack o wheel promotion fully when asked.

    3) The attendant told me to bring up the email with the voucher codes so he could scan it, even though i had already saved the voucher code to my phone for him to scan. I was really frustrated and upset as he was not accepting the saved .jpeg image with the barcode. A long queue was forming behind me as i tried doing this, adding to the embarrassment. As it was, my phone battery was already low when the attendant made me bring up the emails instead of accepting the actual voucher codes.

    4) My partner and I went to collect 2 x Twix and 2 x Dare Raw coffee, but the store had no stock.. not even a price tag saying they should be there.

    5) As the chips voucher was not automatically sent, i contacted the 7 eleven email address and had someone else email me a new voucher - to which i was unable to redeem as it apparently scanned up saying it had already been redeemed elsewhere (which was not the case).

    Don't get me wrong, but i am very grateful that i have won these freebies. But, i don't like the way i was treated in this particular 7 eleven store, not having the stock anywhere available and having a dodgy barcode have really angered me today.

      1) It happens. Email 7-Eleven in this situation like they suggested.
      2) It happens. Poor communication of promos to staff…
      3) Seems like a reasonable request given 2) If the JPEG did not contain the instructions.
      4) It happens. But yes, there should be stock of promoted items.
      5) This sucks. Shouldn't have happened. Someone else reported an issue like this but then was able to redeem at another store. Try it again somewhere else.
      Write to 7-Eleven with your experience.

        I tried another 7-eleven store - nothing could be redeemed AGAIN. The twix bars are 55g not 53g so they wouldn't let me redeem it. Apparently my chips have been redeemed already and the raw iced coffee wont go through - weird. I seem to be wasting 20mins at a time in each store! Its ridiculous. I've been in contact with the area manager regarding my problems - i must say she is sympathetic and trying to help resolve the issues. Just a shame i'm not having much luck redeeming anything!

    I had no trouble with this promotion. redeemed 3 chips, 3 dare raw and one twix. the shop attendants did have some trouble scanning the vouchers though and held up a long que of customers on occasion. but enjoyed getting some decent freebies.
