  • they seem expensive, even with the 50% bonus data…

    • +1

Can you share with us who are offering cheaper plans?

      • I'm getting 40GB for $39, with data counting 50% during off peak with aaNet

        • $350 termination fee

        • The plan I'm on doesn't have a termination fee…

    • Are you all taking into account that this is naked so you don't have to pay $30pm extra for line rental? I checked broadband choice last month and MNF was still the best value plan (though their customer service is not great)

  • Setup Fees (including GST)
    $0 - (24 months)
    $99 - (12 months)
    $199 - (No contract)

  • Club Telco - $40 (possibly $25) P/M. $50 annual fee. No contract. Unlimited ADSL.
Let me know if you need a referral to save more.

    • Any methods to by pass the annual fee? I want to use it as a bridge from TPG 500gb to TPG Unlimited.

      • +1

2 referrals will get you $50 = annual fee

        • or get referred and refer 1 person

    • Perhaps my post is more suited to those who like it Naked

      • What's with the Shaping BS at MNF - go for unlimited

        • We don't use enough data to warrant an unlimited service. Just out of interest what do people do to use more than 300GB a month?

        • Youtube HD Videos, Steaming music, Web TV on your TV, usenet, etc. and of course legal torrents ;)

        • What do you think? Lots and lots of linux iso's from bittorrent.

        • 256kbps was insanely fast once… Well so was 56kbps

Hey, at least your not shaped at 64kbps!

    • How many torrent junkies, zit faced teens cruising xxx tubes, 24/7 youtube warriors are crammed onto their service?

  • How does it naked plans compare with other telcos?

    • Uploads not counted, voip isn't shaped, realistic peak/offpeak times, good whirlpool deals, free calls/modem on 24mth plan $0 setup

  • Been with these guys for 1.5 years. Gotta say in this short time we've seen them go downhill customer service wise.
A terrible handling of a recent move by them saw us switch.

    • Having a "mass service disruption" issue?

    • Hey I might signup.. What other juicy goss you got?

  • Hey,

I was gonna post this myself as I found out about this on whirlpool, actually if you got to their whirlpool page: https://www.mynetfone.com.au/whirlpool/Internet/ADSL2-Plans
Same data allowance and cost, but take at look at their critical information summary and you'll find 24month setup is free and only $99 contract break penalty. They can also setup a naked connection without an active line and you get a free modem or free calls (neosaver voip plan) for a year. Not selling their services, but I gotta signup before 8pm Monday to take advantage of their 50% bonus. Based on my research its either this or clubtelco with the 14.95 homeline lite and pay telstra 59 bucks

    MNF 300gb:

    $50 a month no setup

    Clubtelco Unlimited adsl2:

    $59 (telstra) +$14.95 (line rental) + $50 ( 'membership' fee yearly) + $40 (monthly)

    • signed up to the whirlpool plan on their last offer, first 2 months free! $0 setup, $99 cancel fee, free modem. worst case I get a free modem after 2 months (: quite happy with the service and am sticking around! switched from tpg unlimited.

  • I've been with MNF for 20 months or so. Generally happy with what we get, save on monthly cost, no landline rental and no $200+ setup costs to get modem and connect like others, just jumped in at $50 a month with now 2year commitment. It's not gonna be the best quality speeds and pings etc but I'm not left wanting. I understand some people don't wanna cut corners with the internet and don't mind paying double but this is definitely a bargain

  • Thanks OP!
Already a MNF user so I called to see if they could offer me this deal in some way.
Turns out I was out of contract so they offered an upgrade.
I am on the basic plan 20gb for $40 p/month but they are going to upgrading my data to 200gb for the same price!
    Very happy :-)
