Directory Opus 10 Pro 50% off (bitsdujour) - $44.50

110

Hey Guys,

Thought some of you might be interested in this.

Directory Opus is considered by many people as the best Window\File Explorer replacement out there, and usually also as the most expensive one.
Well today's deal brings the price down to more affordable levels (comparable to XYPlorer and Xplorer2 normal price level) although still pricey.

The license offered will allow you to install on two machines.

For the true bargain hunters out there I know what you are about to comment so I'll beat you to it, here are a few good free alternatives (at no particular order although I do like Free Commander XE):

Directory Opus IS AWESOME! Used it since my Amiga days - Dr Greg & Jon do a great job, it's my go to Explorer replacement every time.

Apparently i had to move to Austria to avoid gst HINT

  • Multi-pane file managers are essential for those of us who copiously download and have a lot of files to manage (unpacking, packing, previewing images and music, copying and moving, etc).

I have trouble using a PC without Total Commander installed on it. The base installation is lacking in some aspects, but with the correct addons it is almost perfect. There are versions available that include most of the more useful and popular plugins. The program itself isn't free but well worth paying for if you perform lots of file ops.

    :)
Some nice choices in that list that I didn't try yet, thanks.

    • No worries, I knew some would find it useful :-)

  • Nice deal. I'm using the registered version of xplorer2, although back at 1.8 because I don't want to cough for the upgrade. It still does what I want.

    • After trialling a bunch of them, I REALLY like xplorer2, more than I liked XYplorer for instance. I love that it has the tips show up after install all geared up to get you up and running, I found the learning curve with some of the other ones quite steep.

I'm trialling Opus now to see which one I like better. As Opus is the same price (or even cheaper) compared to Xplorer2, if I like it as much or more it is a no brainer, otherwise will wait for another sale on Xplorer2.

  • The one thing I like about Opus (and Total Commander) is that you can queue operations. Any of the free ones have this ability.

  • Unfortunately it's only 50% off the Single license. I really wanted the five license version for me servers.
Just purchased a few single licenses instead.

Great buy, this is fantastic software - thanks ory_zm.

  • Extended for another day!
