Free sample bag of Jim's Jerky. IMO the best Jerky in Australia!

From their FB page :

So tell your friends, tell your family, tell your fish; getting a sample is as simple as that, but remember - we're more perceptive than Santa Clause - so if you've tried Jim's Jerky already we'll know

(Please remember to attach your physical address to the email, sending Jim's Jerky to an email address is very difficult.)

        ^^

It is pretty low tech when they can't deliver jerky via 4G

      • +5

        You wouldn't download some jerky…

    • Possibly to stop people from abusing the offer?

    • +1

Just wait until the deal gets ozbargained :)
With thousands of emails flooding thru, I have a feeling next time they will get an online rego form, instead of manually entering the data.

  • Having to send an e-mail to get a freebie. That's just jerking us around ! >8C

    • I hope that neg was for the bad joke, or did someone just not get it ;P

      • +1

Probably cause it was a bad pun AND complaining about a freebie.

          I do, sigh

        • well played sir, well played

Thanks, sent them an email. Why are all the best jerky places in QLD? Always wondered that…

    • +2

QLD has the beef capital of australia

      • +6

And the cows dry out nicely in the heat.

        • +2

I thought it was humid in QLD. The scorching Adelaide or Perth sun would dry meat quicker wouldn't it?

        • too soon

      • What about casino nsw. They have a week dedicated to beef. (I used to live there)

    • +2

      Pretty simple:

      1. Shed load of beef cattle in QLD.
      2. Best to slaughter them close to where they grow them (cattle bruise with transport, and expensive anyway).
      3. Better to dry it where you slaughter them (transport/refrigeration costs too high).
      4. Jobs created in QLD, and more interesting than bending bananas all day.

    It's JERKY time!!!

  • Hurray!

  • By all means try it.
I did, but it didn't really work for me…and not entirely sure where the attraction lies.

Wow 100+ people already jerked off, how big is the jerky anyways, hope it makes us happy on arrival.

    • It's probably 30g - one of their sample packs.

      • +1

If I remember correctly that size was created to meet a certain OzBargainer's request to be able to try some of the product for $5
