  • ill give it a month and it will be under 500

    • ill give it a month and it will be under 500

Another month later, u will say wait until end of August and price will fall below $400. :)

  • is it just me or the S4's price actually is dropping as fast as the Xperia Z not long ago?

    • +1

      it is dropping really fast
The S3 did really well (and if you add the Note 2 sales too)theres just not enough of a reason to upgrade in my opinion. Looks essentially the same as an S3, which most people dont like - they want it to be noticeable that they have a different phone.

I've got the Note 2, only reason I thought of getting the S4 is because of a slightly more convenient size, whilst still being big. And the awesome camera.
But I also recently smashed my Note, which ill more than likely grab an S4

      • HTC One giving Samsung headaches… otherwise there would have been no reason to drop it so fast. No direct competitor otherwise- just check out online reviews. One site says HTC, another says S4… neck and neck.

But Samsung is a juggernaut, they want market share even if it costs them money in the short term. HTC on the other hand really need the One to be a hit for them to stay afloat. Samsung trying to counter that with a knockout blow.

S3 dropped just as fast. And we all know where that battle went.

i think you nailed it, the form factor is not enticing enough

for anyone still stuck on S2 (like me), the S4 will be very appealing once it reach a certain price point

        • +3

Stuck on S2? I'm still rockin an S1.

        • I agree, the fact that the S4 looks pretty much identical to the S3 is a major turnoff for me. It's like how Apple uses the same look for their iPhone all the time.

But hey, at least you guys have modernish phones, I'm still rockin' an Xperia x10 from 2010 - Lag FTW!

        • Im still on the original Iphone that started the smartphone phenomenon, still working but cant update or connect to the net or 3G anymore lol:)

Well Apple using the same design hasn't hurt their sales at all. Doesn't bother me.

    • Samsung is going to get money through the ears once the de-skinned google version comes out anyways.

  • Code no valid. HK stock standard price I've seen lots of suppliers. Question is is it realy
Worth saving on something that cost this much on a a phone ur never quite sure is brand new and not tampered as most of these are shipped in a unseal box

    • how did you come into conclusion it would be unsealed?

      • Many many people have experienced this. It's not too say if u buy one ur won't be sealed but I know I won't be taking that chance for a 100$ saving.

There's no AU stock for this phone. AU only has the quad core 4G version. This one is not releasing in AU.

  • Keep in mind Postage is on top of that price

  • +2

better get notes 2 /GS 3 when the price bit lower soon.

never buy something that just came out - ozb rules

    • never buy something that just came out - ozb rules

      That's true!

      • ofcourse unless you are apple fan bois, and queu 2 days for $999 phone with lower specs than other brand $750 phone

  • how about $599 delivered via express post?

  • -1

How much is shipping? Do they ship or post it?

Also does anybody know if it's Aussie stock or grey-import?

    • +1

c'mon… no way in hell this is au stock. Prices here won't touch that even after 6 months, unless ofc telstra employee plan at $560.

    • click the link and then you will see in the corner of the phone picture there is aus stock logo or import logo

    • <Also does anybody know if it's Aussie stock or grey-import?

i9500 is not released in AU. Therefore it must be import.

  • +1

Also does anybody know if it's Aussie stock or grey-import?

It's grey import from Hong Kong. If you want Aussie Stock, expect to pay $720 - $849

  • Express Shipping (No PO Boxes) $18.00

  • Does it come with GST invoice?

    • Not AU stock, so no. But you could ask UM to charge you an extra 10% and give you a GST invoice if you want.

  • Havent seen a single Note 2 deal for quite sometime, I know Vaya had them going for $500 but you had to be a member but other than that the Note 2 deals are very rare now it seems.

    • agreed, dying for a good note 2 deal atm…

  • If you call and leave these guys a message to get back to you, they don't. Didn't take me long to decide I would never be shopping with them…grey imports and the potential for "seal broken" boxed phones is also a worry. Steer clear I say.

  • I bought a Note 2 from these guys a few weeks back.
It was French Stock - English language Default.
Box seal was sliced through - But i believe it was to include a AUS Charger.
The Phone was clearly Mint Condition as was the box. 8 Days Delivery time.
