    Unless you have a very cheap car, these speakers are probably going to be no better than your standard stock car speakers.

      They might be worse. They don't go lower than 80Hz. My stock speakers do significantly better than that.
      I'm also suspecting it may be a price error and won't be honoured.

        Crappy speakers, not a pricing error. Normally $11 (19?), now 20% off.

          Sounds like the Hardly Normal rep who was correcting me that the high Hz was bass, and low Hz was treble, and that therefore each speaker system went down as low as 20kHz. I kid you not. And he was the manager.

    They are only normally $19, and have previously been on ozbargain for $11
    So don't think it's a pricing error… In true ozbargain fashion I bought first, questioned later.. Now I'm really wishing I could cancel my order! :'(

    80W peak. I doubt they would even do 10W RMS. Any aftermarket headunit could blow these things easily.

      Most aftermarket headunits put out around 20wrms, so definitely not going to blow them! But they are pretty crappy speakers!

    Perfect for a Great Wall, the factory speakers in those probably contain asbestos.

      And? Many things contain asbestos. The only risk is when you tamper with it. So if this is the case, it's best to leave the factory speakers rather than remove them.

    Can someone recommend good value speakers and stereo system? Just something very cheap for family car, that plays mp3 via usb. I am not an audiophile.
