  • It's available in Woolies in SA (infact they are all 20c cheaper!)

    • +8

Sydney travel passes are available in South Australia?

      • It woolworth i see it happen with fox tell remote up in north queen land year ago at dicksmith.

      • Why would they be?
They don't even sell metroCARD (our smartcard) recharges.

    • +5

20c refund at collection depots when sold in SA?

  • I don't understand it. Why would Sydney public transport tickets all of a sudden become reduced to clear?
Something funky must be going on there over in Strathfield…

EDIT: Do tickets have a 'use-by' date that I'm not aware of or something?

    • +1

I think because we're getting those new smart cards soon.

      • +4

that is not going to be for ages

    • +4

Probably because the Woolies is just choosing not to sell them anymore and want to clear inventory.

  • Wow this is cheap!! Might have to go to strathfield tmr to check it out. Someone please advise on stock levels.

Edit: mymulti 3 is cheaper than a mymulti 2. That is very weird.

  • lol wth at that My Multi 3 Concession. Cheaper than the My Multi 1 I bought today… o_O

Considering the drive to Strathfield, I mean I did take 2 trips just to get that $1 soy milk.. (although that was local).

Might check out local store, though I would wager it's store specific

  • +6

I didn't even know you could buy MyMultis at woollies!

    • only some stores

    • Townhall woolies does, my local one does too (Topryde), reallllllly good for those 'spend $50 in a week for fuel vouchers'

      • Never know top ryde woollies sell bus tickets too.

        • I didn't either for a long while, always used to get them at townhall woolies

  • Where about at woolies is this located? Also do these have expiry date other than 7 days after you first use it?

    • +1

The MYBUS - Travel Ten's don't have an expiry date (that I know of). Just 10 trips though

MYMULTI Weekly's have the 7 day expiry (if you dip it after 4pm I think).

  • +3

went to town hall to buy a ticket today & it was normal price.

  • +1

    MYBUS 2 Concession TravelTen - $5.76 (Save $8.64) wtf?
    MYBUS 1 Concession TravelTen - $7.04 (Save $1.76)???

looks like im going to make a stop at stratty tmrw for a 100 bus tickets

  • -7

Ridiculous !!! Bus ticket is reduced to clear…i will buy 100 multi 3…i can earn $100 from resell it !!! So cheap

  • +1

Just called Strathfield they said they only have 2 MyMulti3 left and they said other stores should have it as well. Although not sure if its at that price after asking the guy 3 times and couldn't understand what he was saying.

  • Other stores have it all at normal price - I think its just strathfield

  • -1

    That's below cost!
The margin on these things is like couple of percent.

  • +2

    Price match?

    • +4

      OW??

  • WTF? Almost worth to drive for it from Wollongong.

  • Looks like they're forking out stock in anticipation of Opal, but it doesn't make much sense.

    • +2

not sure if that's really the case… opal's only going through customer trial atm, and only on the City Circle line too.

My Multi's will still be going strong for a while. Surely woolies would know that.. :/

Can't really get my head around this lol, only some My Multi's and My Bus', where the My Multi 3 is cheaper than 2? No idea for a plausible reason for the massive price drop, even if it's old stock they don't have expiry or anything..

  • MYBUS 1 Adult TravelTen - $14.08 (Save $3.52)
Is this for 10 bus trips?
I wish we could still get those in QLD! With such expensive public transport and no free parking in city until 10pm as well as weekends, I haven't travelled to CBD ever since I lost my job due to the State health budget cut :(

    • Go card isn't too bad, at least you get free trips, not really sure how it works but when I was still living in brissy that's what I found

      • Free trips after 9 trips within a week.
As someone with no job, a return trip to CBD (one zone, one route, <5km) would cost me $7.5-$8, not sure how this compare to other states?

        • About the same in NSW, sadly. Regularly I pay $7-8 for return trip two stations away.

    • Queensland government… All I can do is LOL!! And congratulate myself for staying in Sydney and not moving up there.

    • +1

10 bus trips for zones 1-2 , which doesnt get you far.

  • Not sure if the town hall big Woolies has the cheap tickets

    • They don't. Precisely, they didn't yesterday

      • which other Woolies in Sydney area have bus tickets?

  • The most important questions
    Any tickets left?
Are there any woolies doing the same price?

    ;)

  • +1

Strathfield is out of stock now and has removed their sale sign . said might go on sale again tonight.

  • +2

Disappointment. Not on sale at Town Hall Sydney so everyone else don't bother checking.. :(

  • Now where is that Ozbargainer I met at the counter..
