        • I think putting in the headline might have attracted more attention. I know I bypassed it, and I filter through every 'new deal' headline. Not every one has a pet but I'm sure everyone has a sweet tooth (even if it's just one, I probably have what others consider sweet 'teeth' :P). Although $1.45 may be what others consider marginal I probably would've pulled the pin on an impulse buy for $7.50. $8.95 or $10.50 is a bit of a stretch for what amounts to a novelty.

Other people have asked whether it works with lollies. I doubt the sticky kind, but if the lollies were in shells like skittles (unless water seeps into the dispenser then they turn sticky) I doubt they would have trouble being thrust out of the machine.

I had an old cheapo M&M version once. The problem I found with my one was it being air tight. For I put a packet in and in less than a week the confectionery was noticeably stale (without the same crunch).

  • works as a dry cat food dispenser as well?

What do you think it was originally designed for?

      • SOLD! Totally teaching the cats how to use this! :-)

maybe Broden has got a job there and he's offloading some of his stuff

I see, making life for fatties a lot easier.

    • dont you think its easier to rip open a bag of lollies and eating it than placing your hand under the dispenser each time your hand is empty?

  • After too many candies you will be too lethargic to wave under the machine so the process is self-limiting. :)

  • can you rig it so that the motion-activated release works when you burp near it?

    • It's 'Incredible Machine' all over again.

  • Yep. I posted this up a few days ago and again in the other dealsdirect gumball thread few hrs ago

  • I can see it coming - kids wave hands and run away for me to do the cleaning! Why pay money and ask for work!

It's not only the candy that is semi-hard for this deal.

    • Does this device come pre-assembled, or do you have to erect it yourself?

  • +1

Does it also work with lollies?
