    I Ordered 10 last night at 2am for $15 off JB website, they've taken the money out, so heres hoping the cash back goes smoothly. will go great with the Router D-Link paid me $15 to use lol.

          I had tried this last time, when they were $24 and it had worked. I was also able to stack them up. I suggest you read the thread here, if you haven't done so already.

  • Seemed to work for people last time. Not sure if they got their money though as none of them have posted successfully getting it.

    Called up JB today, their in store rep confirmed what I read on their return policy. No refunds will be provided to software or computer games even if the packaging is sealed.

    Not sure why that is because his reasoning for it was that they couldn't tell if you have activated the antivirus or not. However, it's JB's policy so you better hope that you can repeat the 10x free if you only have 1 or 2 devices because there will be no returns.

    • I rang JB & was told I could get a store credit on basis that I have Android 2.1 phone & this requires 2.2.

      I was looking at a credit on 10 I bought a month ago, to buy 16 at this price, but stores here would not sell at $15, so placed order online for another 10 :-)

      My Westfield order is still at "Processing". Has anybody's moved beyond this stage?

      • Same on mine. I called Westfield and they said up to the retailer when they process the order. I'll wait until Friday to cancel it.

        My Westfield order is still at "Processing" but received my order this morning. I think as long as your payment goes through, your order should hopefully arrive soon.

      • Still "Processing" and I have heard nothing. Absolutely nothing. Also, the transaction is still showing as "Pending" on my PayPal account, which means they haven't even taken the money out! How long is this going to take? The suspense is killing me. It's Ridiculous.

      • OK. Some progress. PayPal shows order is "Completed" and even though Westfield still shows "Processing", the "Cancel Order" button has disappeared. So looks like I'll getting these after all…

    had my 7 that i ordered from jb directly before they changed the price back to $30 arrive just now. sticker on front of each one saying "$30 cashback" and receipt telling me i paid $15 each. big plus to op, looks like i'll net $105 no problems as i only ordered 7 to match the number of unique devices in household i could throw it on. good luck everyone!

      I'm getting the same error as you. I've sent symantec an email. Have you got it resolved?

      • Not sure if you guys resolved this already. I just received product key cards today! The reason you had such message is because you have not activated it with your registered norton account with your device you intend to install properly. Just download the norton security app and activate it. Go back to cash back redemption site and try again you will be ok.

          Thanks for your reply. I've tried to re-register and I am still getting the same error. I've tried with a new device as well and no luck. It's been 10 days and still no reply from symantec. I will email them again.

          Do you guys have any more suggestions?

        • For the particular serial number it states that it is not activated.
          Now I just have to figure out how to activate that particular serial number.

          Update: not sure how I get it activated exactly. I de-registered all the devices on my account and logged back in for every single one. Somehow minutes after the particular serial number changed its status to active. I assume one of the devices did not log in properly at the initial installation.

  • Got 10 of mine today, ordered 20 (10 for me and 10 for my fiance) Suprisingly the order that turned up was in her name which I ordered hours after the first order.

  • For those who have stacked multiple subscriptions on 1 device, what does it say under the subscription status in the app? I've stacked 2 onto one device and it says 366 days left - is that right?

        • no, it doesnt stack automatically.

          you have to chat with the agent to do that. but i advise you do this later once you receive your cheque(s).

    For those who already claimed the rebate, do you need a proper receipt or will the order page be ok?

  • Too late for some of us. Just went to stack 3 licenses on 3 devices and was told on live chat that there is some new policy out that only allows them to combine a max 2 yr subscription on 1 device. So it looksllike they're on to this and no more 10 yr subscriptions. :/

    • So can't you somehow wipe out the program from your device and reinstall it again?

      • The way I managed to do it was with multiple e-mail addresses. I have 3 e-mails and 3 devices so one on each device per e-mail address worked well for me. with one spare to use on the Mrs address. Also if you have an iphone deleting the app will work for clearing it's data.

        • Bummer, what if I don't have that many devices? I have an android phone and tablet - will deleting the app clear it's data aswell (so I can reinstall 'fresh')?

  • I consider myself someone who is very capable with a computer and the android operating system. This took me quite a while (2 hours) to get 4 licenses activated on my one phone. I mean I have access to 4 phones but I wanted to try it on the one. (I did spend some quality time testing out the features though :P) I used 2 email addresses, activated 2 licenses on each address as they are tied to your account not your phone and a user commented that they only combine a max of 2 licenses now. In light of this, it makes sense that the phone's IMEI/identification seems irrelevant.

    The licenses did activate (I uninstalled the app and reinstalled each time using the barcodes as it is all automated, great if you have enough data), unfortunately the online security features seem quite dodgy as there is approximately a 10 minute delay before any of the functions are initiated by the device. There is an sms option (for 4 functions) which is instant however if you are trying to take a photo of your unauthorised user, good luck with that (Only takes 1 per 10 minutes by default, no sms option). No photos with the back camera only the front. No audio recording. There are many apps online that do much more for less. Without this cashback I would definitely not use this product. As of this stage, Symantec is still just antivirus, not mobile security.
