I do get the emails but don't always read them because I know if there is a really good deal in them I will find them on ozbargain anyway :P So thanks for the heads up because I got the bar fridge for my uni student son delivered for $99.50. Was just talking to him about getting one the other day and had my eye on this same one on DD when it was $199 and about $40 or so delivery. He will be chuffed when it magically shows up ;)

  • Anyone know how the Eurolab DriFry would compare to the Sheffield Chip Air Fryer shown in a previous deal?

  • i wonder how the warranty works?

  • Didn't get the mixer but purchased the food dehydrator. Had just purchased one yesterday for $40 so I'll be getting a refund on that. Thanks!

  • Damn - bought the mixer and the breadmaker at full price two weeks ago + shipping . Upside, at least I have them.

    • Same mixer? Is it good, what's it made of, just plastic?

      • +1

Same mixer. Quite plastic, metal bowl and mixing bits. The metal on the beater and dough hook are very light weight. It's no Kitchen Aid but you can't argue for the price. I got the mixer and the bread maker for $50 a piece, not full price for the bread maker but not quite the bargains they are at the moment. Mixer is still resting on the bench, the other half requested it and it's their responsibility to do something with it. I gave the bread maker a run on the day it arrived. I used the basic recipe from the instructions. The top collapsed a quite a bit in the middle but overall it rose tremendously and it came out quite well. I used half the amount of yeast that I would when I hand knead. You must do the burn off for the bread maker before you use it for the first time and do it in the laundry or garage. It's quite a smelly process.

Can now report that the mixer has been used to make a cake. Does a pretty good job. Not the quietest of mixers but then I don't think that you could call any mixer quiet. The auto cutout activated but if you know about it, it's not an issue

  • +2

$35 breadmaker delivered. I can't walk past that kind of bargainosity

  • Thanks OP :) got the mixer

  • +1

Thanks god it is sold out

  • Thanks OP hopefully it's not too bad. Plan on using it for pizza dough yummo!

  • Got an AusPost tracking number :)
