Sorry for the confusion, The unit is an ADSL modem router NOT just a wireless router. It comes with 4 x LAN ports and 1 x WAN port. The WAN port will fit a standard phone line cable (RJ11). We have since updated
The page to avoid further confusions. The unit however is not a repeater and hence will not function as a wireless extender

  • delivered? if not, include the fee in the title please.

  • $19.42 postage to FNQ.. craziness. Still, it is a great price for the product.

  • Yup, shipping kills the deal as it's only N150.

Wotch, out fore tha Gramma Nazees OhPee;!

  • N00b question: Is this really an ADSL2+ modem as well? I can't see a ADSL/phone line socket. The WAN input at the top seems to be ethernet sized?

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance,

    • You can plug a RJ11 (phone) into a RJ45 (ethernet) port.

How? Is it coming with a special cable/adaptor?

I already bought it without looking at this closely. Now considering cancelling.

        • The RJ45 is just a wider version of RJ11. So the RJ11 slots into a RJ45 just fine.

At work the whole building is cabled RJ45 so things like faxes use it as well, it works fine.

If you wanna see what I mean just plug a phone cable into any ethernet port you have on your laptop / router etc.

The manual saids "a) Modem (Wan) Connector Connect your modem to this port using an Ethernet cable" So you better make sure your phone line connector is an RJ45

        • Its pretty dodgy if they are calling it a ADSL 2+ modem router and it doesn't have modem functions, I don't know if it does and I wouldn't buy this for other reasons.

But like I said regardless of if this does have modem function RJ45 fully takes RJ11 cables (try it).

  • Its manual has no mention of modem ability. It says connect to a modem!!!
