    Just wondering, what are the acidity levels the coffee?

    I bought 1 KG of Premium Reserve from Bay Beans, but only had about 75% of them because it made my stomach upset and made me burp a lot most likely do the high acidity in the beans.

      These coffee's both have a good acidity, which is a positive quality in coffee and neccessary for milk based coffee to cut through the milk. Don't confuse this with bitterness or a bad acidity though, that is a whole different thing.

      Good fresh coffee also has it's own sweetness and the freshness allows the flavour profiles really shine through.

      Your getting 3 single origins(maybe 1 grand cru). They sell them at a premium. This deal is one of the better ones in their past few!

    If I hadn't literally just bought your last SO deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/108240) I would have given this a go. Can happily recommend Manna Beans. Any chance of bringing back a deal with the Yemen coffee again?? Hint Hint :P

      Very low on Yemen, only got about 25kg left. The newest shipment which arrived on the boat a few weeks ago was a dud. They had mixed it with a lot of low grade substitute and it wasn't the same as the samples they had provided. A lot of the coffee traders lost out and therefore a big shortage of an already difficult bean to get hold of

    Is there any chance of getting a subscription discount? I've got a cache of stale beans building up because I keep buying the 1KG/2KG deals for their great price, but I can't consume them fast enough! I looked at your 500g sub and it's $28 vs the $50/$60 deals for 2KG here.

      There's a couple of options that could work for you.

      1. Drink more coffee.
      2. Ask Mannabeans to put the coffee in 500gram bags (for an additional charge which i think was around a buck a bag).
      3. Invest in a vacuum sealer like the recent aldi one use it for coffee beans, steak, chicken and other bulk items.

      Also when you get deals like this throw the beans that your not using in the freezer! It will ensure that they stay fresher for longer and if you double this up with options 2 or 3 then it means your only going through around 500grams at a time and your 2kg deals wont go off.
