Ozb'ers aren't poor, they're extremely frugal.
Whenever an expensive item gets posted on OzBargain there are always two types of comments:
- If you can afford that you won't be on OzBargain!
- Bargain! Just bought a few, one for each family member.
However for a $6,750 TV these days I'll expect 4K?
They only included 1x 3D glasses too, how stingy…
their mindset is prolly like if you could afford a 6k TV you could spare a few hundred for the glasses LOL
Agree 100% with your comments. Agree 4k better but cant get same size for the price. Im at the verge of pulling the trigger.

When you consider that a 84 inch 4k tv retails for $16999 here you might consider this. However if you go and see the 4k tv In question you will see the reason it costs so much.

It is dropping in price, still, it's a lot of coin.
I saw the new LG Laser display 100" and was disappointed! The image didn't even stretch to the edges of the screen. Plus $7999, and the fact it has a massive black box in front of it.
Yer i saw the 100 inch laser on the weekend. I think i would prefer this 80 or the 65in 4k hisense for 5500.

Hi Berger JB at watergardens in vic and jb at gepps cross SA both have the Hisense . I. Was in SA for work last week JB there has a Hisense display which at first i thought i was looking at a Samsung display. Very good looking TVl
