See previous promo (just expired):

Unlike the 50% discount where
(a) the 50% reduction applied to fare only and ,
(b) the fare was increased the night before to compensate the reduction
this promo simply tells you the final price you will pay.

If you add the outbound flight to your booking you may use price beat at your local travel agent! Otherwise, you will need to pay as Singaporean local or pay CC surcharge.

It's only last until tonight - hurry up!
Even if your destination is other Asian country, you may profit from this deal!

P.S. I personally hate this as I have paid the full fare but in return for a lot of $$$ I've gained from ozbargain, here comes my little contribution. Because I am feeling down for having paid more than the lowest fare, don't expect me to any answer questions regarding Scoot! There will be many people from the previous promo sharing their stories and be happy to help though…

Strange choice of background image in the promo link… housing commission?

    Appropriate, though, I suppose..

    • iaijutsu, It looks like a block of flats/apartments in singapore :)

singapore is ~80% public housing…. not that people are poor, as each unit can easily cost more than a house over here in a good suburb.

    • the whole point of that picture is to show singapore's national flags on display. it is a "national day sale" afterall…

  • that's SGD 99, so about A$85

no deals on SYD —> SIN, so return price would be closer to $365 (no bags)

not as good as yesterday's deal.

      1. SYD->SIN can be booked later?
      2. AirAsia? via KUL
      3. JetStar, Tiger? via MEL/PER
      4. Full-service airline?
      5. Boat/Swim/Walk (if possible)?

      Title revised to "SGD99". Thanks.

  • Scoot to Sydney at ONLY $99 (one-way, taxes included)

Where the bloody hell is Scoot ?

    • Title revised to "Scoot SIN-SYD". Thanks.

bloody hell = SIN (sound religious?)

  • Here Scooty Scooty, come to Melbourne, we'll love you!!! Pretty please!

    • bah. you guys have air asia or something already. :P

    • JetStar has price beat in place and it is based in Melbourne!

It will be a rather fierce competition. In short term, customers will enjoy a good price. However, if one (or several) players are kicked out of the market, we will suffer in the long run.

Look at SYD-BKK route, for example. After QF joins it hands with EK & BA, it is never cheaper to fly direct! You find all sorts of alternatives via KUL, SIN, TPE, CAN, SGN, HAN.

      • You cant price match scoot to Jetstar as they are different routes to Singapore and dont qualify. Call Jetstar and they wont do it.

        • Correct. But my comment above is in response to supabrudda asking "Scooty" to fly to MEL.

  • Keep in mind the sale starts at 9pm UTC+8:00 (Singapore, or Perth time). So that's 23:00 for us in Sydney.

If we have $99 SIN->SYD, anyone found anything good from SYD->SIN? Cheapest on Adioso for August is $273 (with a hilarious 21 hour stopover in KUL).

  • Started last night.

    • ah, you're right. sorry, I can't do dates very well. :)
