      "and does nothing :("

Just because you couldn't get it to work doesn't make it a bad deal. It works for me and others. Perhaps you should reverse your neg because that was unreasonable of you.

      • Mate, thanks for confirming that this works :)

        • No probs. $3 is enough to rent a movie (SD only, HD is $3.99). I had to make a US address to add as an alternative for my account (to get around the geographical restrictions) and I also used a VPN to the US.

        • Making this purchase also gave me a bonus $1 mp3 credit according to the confirmation email.

  • Thanks, goes well with the free 1 month trial

  • Worked for me. Note: If you are seeing the geographical restrictions error message after trying to purchase something, check your 1-Click settings. Make sure to remove any addresses that are not in USA from the 1-Click dropdown.

Neg purely because the OP suggests using VPN or DNS to view US content.. you can get into some serious trouble over that, and it's far more serious a crime than illegal downloads.

    • While it breaches the T&C of Amazon, it's not illegal (in my opinion).

Choice, Australia's biggest consumer organization recommends it.

A recent Parlimentary inquiry has recommended banning geo-blocking.

    • "……you can get into some serious trouble over that, and it's far more serious a crime than illegal downloads."

Seriously? You think that "purchasing" content from outside Amazon's area is "…… far more serious a crime than illegal downloads." (ie stealing).

      What are you smoking?

    • You must be new to this entire website. It is very common to use VPN or DNS and I dont believe any one of us are currently in jail (for that reason anyway =P)

  • Expired - all codes have been redeemed.
