Xbox Live 3000 Points Card for $42.39

This works out to be $14.13 for 1000 points.
Physical card is sent out to you.

Have been looking for some points cards for a while, and came across MightyApe.

Just for comparison

Other online sellers may of course be cheaper, but most seem to be out of stock, and once you include conversion fees, this deal isn't too bad.

I also understand that it may not be as cheap as some previous deals, such as the HN $35 for 3000

  • Can this be used on Windows 8 store/music to buy albums ?

    • If it uses a Live account it might be able to.

  • +2

Microsoft are eliminating all points by 22 august, so if you don't spend by that date, these will be converted to local currency.. Might be why everyone is trying to pass them off now, might not be worth as much after that.

  • Apparently we won't be worse off so fingers crossed… I better redeem my other Xbox Live points card too! Thanks Op.

  • The fine print on any MS Points converted over to currency, is that currency will have a used by date.
Anything bought after the swapover date to currency will not.

  • Not to be that guy but this isn't much of a deal, 3000/42.39= 70 points per dollar, its better if you want to add them to your Aus account as normally Aus gets 1 dollar = 60.

However if you made a free US account, logged in and bought points from paypal, you would get 1 Dollar = 80 points and Any DLC you buy or any game from that US account can be played by any gamer tag on that system. But +1 for deal on Aus points.

  • FYI - 1500MSP = A$24.75 at RRP. So when you redeem the points code & when your MSpoints balance is converted to currency (if you're not already in the beta program), you'll get $49.50 credit - perhaps rounded up to an even $50 if MS are feeling generous.

I'm a little over MightyApe personally - I've asked them before but they won't be offering email of codes any time soon. $5 postage for (what's effectively) an online code only is ridiculous IMO.

  • I can tell you that when 3000 points gets converted to local currency, its $49.50. I've been buying 4000 point cards for $45~$47, and they have been converted to $66. I don't find the expiry date to be a huge issue, as it doesn't take too long to spend.

  • Got 3000 points for $35 and 2000 for $19, redeemed them gave me $82.50 from $54. Thanks Harvery
