I meant ps4 my bad but yeah seems like anothet ps3 to hit the shelves before retiring it.

Won't these things drop heaps once the ps4 is released? I don't have really any interest in ps4 first generation, as with new tech they usually use the public as beta testers then bring out the follow up model 6-12 months later with most the bugs fixed up. ;)
I agree, I usually buy previous generation consoles when they are cheap… there are many advantages… price of course, but also hardware/software is more stable, there are plenty f good titles at a fraction of the cost too
Just bought a PS3 with 20 games, haven't played any yet… using it to watch 3D blurays… Truth is I'm still having fun with Gamecube games!
The cube is probably still my fav console released post 2000.

I guess this is an ok deal, but the old 500GB EB Games deal with 2 extra games for $288 was much better.
I notified a friend of this deal yesterday, she wanted to get gt5, driving force gt steering wheel and ps3 console for her hubby for fathers day. Got it price matched at jbhifi and picked it all up for $427. Not bad if u ask me.
