This one's for 40GB owners. Gives you those two missing USB ports and card reader.

It's black and clips on flush to the console. Only one of its kind, no real competition out there. Works a treat, some mislabelling though you'll have to use the 20, 60, 80GB clip that comes with it not the 40GB one. Also have to hold it in place when using force.

Don't know when EB's sale ends, should have posted this earlier… so get in fast. Cheaper than online and good for returns from EB.

Sorry if this is kind of a duplicate on the EB sale, I figured its a really useful bargain that lots of 40GB users can take advantage of.

    Thanks for the tip. Looks interesting and will check it out if still available. Not sure if it has enough power to support USB charging however as it's not powered, or if it supports SDHC cards as well.

    No problem, can't find for sure if it supports SDHC, but can't see why not. Only came out after mid last year I think. USB charging confirmed. It still leaves one of the original USB ports free if that helps.

    I'm not too sure about PlayTV or powerless external hard drives, you'll just have to test and report back!

    Looks quite good and seems to work with my 4GB SDHC card. Purchased it with an otherwise very expensive PowerWave PS3 Charge Tower, 2 for $50.
