    I just tried to pricematch K400R at OW, but as it is out of stock in my local HN, OW won't honor it. Even though I can backorder at the same discounted price , OW just won't honor it :(

    omg this is like an awesome keyboard

    first like mechanical ever.

    a little noisy
    a litte heavy

    but other than that rock solid thing feels quite good typing on it so far

        Call that the keyboard was ready for pickup, drove all the way there and no keyboard is available.
        Simple ludicrous ways of services. Eventually, they offer to transfer from another store and shipped directly to me.

    After coming from a g15 keyboard there's two things that are annoying me with the g710+ so far. One is that there is no indentation on the caps key so I sometimes misclick when I want to press A and two the esc key is in a different position compared to the g15 and aligned against the tide key (not slightly to the right). I also need to get use to using sufficient force on the key so the switch activates as well.

      Overall what do you think of the g710+, does it make it more reliable or faster keypress or it hasn't really helped at all and rather is more annoying than the g15. Because I currently have a g15 and have a g710+ on order

        Well I've been using the g15 for a long long time so I guess I'm used to it. Might take some time to adjust to a mechanical keyboard.

        You'll get used to it.

        I've come from blue and red switches. This is my first brown switch and its the best of both worlds in that regards.
        You get the satisfying click from a mech switch but with less noise from a blue or green switch

        Use it for a bit and make a decision. A mech keyboard really is personal preference.

      I've had a G15 as well along time ago.

      You'll get used to the layout. I've used a few mech boards since the G15 and made the transition really easy.

      Your fingers should be dancng acroos the board.
      Thats the point of a mech keyboard, it should be minimum force to get the necessary keystroke.
      Too much and you are "bottoming out'
      The o-rings have helped with it tbh.
      I'm currently using this inline with my Ducky and Filco.
      It aint a bad board, its no super duper board but wi;; try for a few weeks to see if it stays

      Yet another guy here who had a g15 and upgraded to the G710+ (gosh we're pretty numerous). I'm still getting used to it for sure, but after typing up a couple thousand word report this weekend on it I've got to say it's nice when you get used to doing it right. The keystroke force feels lighter than on the G15, half the time I don't feel like I'm pressing the keys hard enough for them to register but it pretty much always happens anyway. The feedback and mild click is good and it's pretty easy to teach yourself to only push hard enough to feel it. Like Noonoo said, your fingers should be dancing across the board rather than bottoming out - that's what will make the keypresses feel light.

      I haven't tried a huge amount of gaming yet, but it didn't feel awkward when I did. I didn't really notice anything to be honest.

    Grabbed a G710 from Midland, WA today. Basically like a mechanical G15 (exact same width and length) which I upgraded from, but with the modern Logitech G-series layouts (like on the G510/G110/G19) and volume scroller. Key positions are slightly different, keys maybe a tad smaller but feel much nicer to type on and are far more durable.

    Really nice to look at too, looks so much better in person and really solidly-built. The white back-lighting is super-bright (the G15 had pretty poor back-lighting I always thought).

    Was quite a drive as nowhere in Perth apart from Midland and Mandurah had them and both only had 2 left, so I had to put it on hold.

    Good show from HN.

    Very disappointed with HN website again. I paid with click and collect from Broadway, went into store today just because I was in the area (hadn't received confirm email yet) and asked the store manager if I could just pick it up early since they had it in stock. He said the website had been wrong all along and they didn't have stock- he showed me the screen saying they had negative 3 units, and that the website is really unreliable with stock levels. What a joke. He said they ordered 50+ units yesterday so I should still get it at that price but may take a week or more before I get it.

      I placed the order pretty much as soon as I noticed the deal up on here, and even though I ordered from a store that said they had it in stock, I wasn't going to wait for a confirmation email (call me impatient).

      I called them lunchtime Saturday and they said they had two in stock (which they couldn't find) and one on hold for somebody else, but I could have that one if I didn't want to wait or they'd call me back if they happened to find the others (one of which was supposed to be put away for me). Sure enough they called me back at 4pm to pick it up. So, at least they kept their word. Hopefully you other guys also get them!

      Awesome keyboard (k400r). It even works on my PS3 (not just the keyboard, but the trackpad controls the XMB and mouse buttons work too).

    I called up Harvey Norman Broadway and the guy told me he's getting smashed with Monday morning orders. He said that they're waiting for the supplier to bring them in around next week. But he said he'd chase them up and try get it earlier.

    Apparently there's about 57 orders for the K400R for the Broadway store alone.

    Went and picked up my G710+ today. Got home and realised one of the security seals on the outer box was broken. Took out the inner white box and both security seals had been broken. Now back to HN tomorrow to get a replacement one, and now have to join the week long queue.

    Make sure you guys are getting brand new, sealed stock.

      I thought the same when I picked up my k400r. The factory stickers were tampered with and were unstuck at some stage, but I noticed a security device stuck to the inside of the box which I assume Harvey Norman put in there, and they couldn't have done that without removing the seals. It still beeped as I walked out of the store, but they said to ignore it, so they must've known the tag/security device was there.

      The keyboard didn't have any fingerprints on it, and the keyboard, along with the receiver and adapter were all packaged like new. It definitely didn't seem like any of it was used, and I obviously tested it and everything works.

      For $22.60, it really was a bargain. I just wish I grabbed an m905 or a keyboard/mouse combo as well while I was there.

      Anytime you buy a product from a store that show signs of being opened beforehand, 8 times out of 10 it's because the business inserted an RFID sticker or anti-theft tag (usually on high-value items).

      When I got my G710+ on the 24th I went to two HN's and the guy at Osborne Park actually checked stock state-wide for me and everywhere in Perth apart from Midland (where I ended up going, lol) and Mandurah had no stock; and even those two only had 2 keyboards left.

      I asked him if they'd be getting stock soon and he estimated about 2 weeks or so; obviously the price will be back to up $196 though.

    If you still wanna buy it from a Harvey Norman store that does not have stock, it clearly displays a message that back order it and they will get stock really soon. I placed a back order 15 days before in Wiley Park NSW 2195 for K400R and still no sign of any stock. Is that what Really Soon means for Harvey Norman? I strongly believe it is a misleading advertising practice on purpose. They believe in getting money upfront and then not letting customer know about correct ETA.

    It seems their deals are only good for items in stock.
