Bosch 18V Li-Ion Drill Driver & Impact Driver Combi Set $198 at Bunnings

210

Went to Caroline Spings Bunnings yesterday and saw Bosch 18V Li-Ion Drill Driver & Impact Driver Combi Set selling at $198. On the latest father's day catalogue, it is showing at $279. This set comes with 3 batteries (1.5Ah) and PSR18LI2, & PSR18LI. One hour charging time. I was told by the staff the normal price before the father's day catalogue was $299. Just in case people asking where are they made in, PSR18LI2 and batteries are Made in Hungary and PSR18LI is Made in Malaysia.

  • Which Bunnings?

    • Caroline Springs, VIC

    • There were tonnes left at Clayton South today….And yes the price was $198.

  • +2

+1 for the extra info including where it was made…

  • Can anyone else confirm being able to purchase at this price?

    • Yup, still quite a number left on the shelf. Not sure if other stores are selling at this price.

  • buy on 28 deg and submit claim!

    • No. Bunnings is green DIY Bosch. You've linked blue TRADE Bosch and Hammer Drill rather than normal 2 speed drill.

Can anyone comment on green Bosch. Good or bad? Best of DIY range? I. E. Better than Ozito, Worx and Ryobi 18v?

  • I'm a big ran of the ryobi one+ 18v range. Don't forget to check them out.

  • Good price, considering the 18V Impact Driver on its own is $229 on the website - http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_bosch-18v-liion-…

Was $198 for the Impact Driver in-store if I'm not wrong. Catalogue says PSR18li but is actually the PDR18li.

    The 18V Drill Driver - http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_bosch-18v-liion-…

Was quite surprised the combo kit was $198 to be honest.

    • Bunnings put the 18V Drill Driver beside the combi set with both showing $198. I was thinking who would buy the 18V drill driver since the combi set has the same thing.

      • Ya, saw that! Maybe they are trying to clear the combo kit. Good spot.

I was looking for the Ozito 4 piece kit but I think this should be a better buy in terms of quality. Didn't need the saw and torch, the multi-tool would do more than the saw.

  • Rocklea, QLD store has it for $198 and there is only 3 boxes left.

    • Two sets at Oxley $198 (displayed in the aisle in front of power tools setion)as of this morning - Tuesday

  • caroline springs is ages away for me unfortunately..
is this offer available at other stores? or would they be willing to match the price at least?

  • Bought this set last night. It was good timing too as I was at bunnings ready to buy the ryobi set but this was a bargain!

Have to say thank you to iHello for posting.

    • you are welcome! :)

  • 4x boxes left at box hill this morning. So proud I didn't succumb.

  • just bought one from bunnings box hill

one guy helping me out was like why do you want the drill driver.. all youd need is the impact driver.
he was flabbergasted when he realised the standalone impact driver was $50 more

  • Bunnings Malaga out of stock. (WA)
Got one from Joondalup. 2 left there.

  • Heaps left at Rockdale Bunnings.

  • Is this the same kit at masters for $198 now? Might go in and check out the product codes.

edit: Seems that Bunnings may have lowered their price to $198 to beat Masters who orignally had it for $199. Can also get another $10 off at Masters using online coupon "FATHER0913" or taking the coupon from the catalogue in store.

    • Looks like the masters kit is an older model with only 2 batteries and no new speed control thingy.

  • +1

Where have you been all my life, absolutely brilliant set.. Quite a few left at Bunnings Morley (WA), if you're thinking of doing it, do it, it really is that awesome tool mate you've been looking for.. About 30 timber tek screws through aluminium then wood, I wasn't going back to that succubus place! Putting up a cafe blind was a piece of cake today, on the charge that it was from factory, still half a battery left and going strong.. I'm just thinking of what stuff I can drill tomorrow..

Has anyone had any experience using the other Bosch tools with these 1.5a 4ALL batteries? I'm intrigued, strangely aroused after seeing the strength in these ones.. Hope the mrs hasn't gone to bed..
